Alec has been patient but now he needs Matt to make up his mind and commit to them as Daddy and boy but he refuses and seems to be pulling away. Matt knows that Daddy Bear wants a life together but he is broken inside and then there is Matt's hidden secret and when that is exposed it threatens to destroy his relationship with Alec as well as all of the other Brenners. Will Alec support his boy as their world crumbles around them? Will Matt run away rather than ask for what he needs?
I enjoyed this story although it was desperately sad when the secret came out. The fact that there was a reason to not commit to Alec was good as he was a good Daddy as far as I could see and they both loved each other deeply. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.
