Marco is a transgender younger Dom who does not want to be in a kink club on Valentine's Day because he doesn't have the patience to lip-read all the hearing crowd and sub Greg is too busy mourning his Sir who died three years ago to want to be there. When Greg steps in to explain something in ASL sign language Marco realises he is exactly his type even though he i =s not ready for a relationship yet. They start off with a friendship which then developed into a tentative Dom/sub relationship. Can Greg find the courage to move on with Marco?
I liked this story with the transgender and deaf themes but the depth of the mourning by Greg of his Sir and the way he was abused by him was a little difficult/tedious to handle. I loved Marco and was rooting for him to be successful with Greg but I did have my doubts at times. The ASL side of things was handled very sensitively. Easy to understand. This is an MM book with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s relationship.
