Lawyer Kendall Shaw is in a rut and sick of being set up on dates by friends and family that are unfulfilling and meaningless. Then Joe Butler walks into the meeting room and everything changes. Joe has worked diligently to build up his architectural business and reputation and is currently working for his biggest client to date. When Kendall and Joe’s paths cross, sparks fly. But Joe has a strict no-dating policy, especially when it comes to clients. But Kendall is relentless and refuses to accept no for an answer.
I enjoyed this novella which was sweet when they were both honest about their thoughts and feelings for each other. I loved the way that they thought they were being so careful but in fact, everyone appears to have been on to them. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
