Jerico is one of Zander's team leaders and after hard work and moving to the east coast to run the first cleanup crew on that side of the country, he was far too busy to date anyone. Now new teams are arriving he has more free time and so can focus on the man he has been eyeing for months - Edward - who he is convinced will accept everything about him. Until two weeks ago Edward had no idea that Jericho existed. Edward is as plain and boring as they come as the librarian gave up on love a long time ago. Surely there is no way that someone who looks like Jericho could be interested in him Edward will think of him as a new friend.
I enjoyed this story with the librarian who could not imagine why anyone like Jericho could want him and let Jericho couldn't get him out of his head and have a desperate need to love and protect him. I really liked their passion and the way that Edward accepted Jericho no matter what he did for a living. The attack on Edward was very fortunate to be on a non-working day and the devotion that they both showed each other was touching. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
