Review: Boss Daddy: Forever Daddy by Jamie Kassel 4 of 5 stars

Boss Daddy: Forever Daddy

Boss Daddy: Forever Daddy by Jamie Kassel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Charlie Randall was abused by his father and pimped out until he died. After a series of jobs, he finally interviews for one worth staying for. Andrew Fielding is smart, good-looking and very kind. He has never taken advantage of Charlie or hinted at anything inappropriate - Charlie has no idea what his sexuality is or if there is a significant other out there. What he does have is an unwavering belief that Charlie can accomplish anything he sets his mind to. When Andrew gets sick Charlie realises that his boss isn't straight and would be happy to fulfill Charlie's darkest desire. Charlie wants a daddy. Charlie wants one of those sexy, kinky, gay daddies who live to take care of their boy but Charlie has enough emotional baggage and no sane man would want anything to do with Charlie no matter how hot he is. Fortunately, Andrew isn’t like anyone else Charlie has ever met.

This is such a sweet story of the strong and caring Daddy who just wants to help his damaged boy to be the best he can be and be happy. I just wanted to hug Charlie and tell him that he was worth far more than any of the people who had used him in the past. I admired Andrew and his restraint to make sure that Charlie was sure before they did anything more physical. This will pull at your heartstrings. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a DDLB dynamic.

Review: Fireman Daddy: Forever Daddy Series by Jamie Kassel 3 of 5 stars

Fireman Daddy: Forever Daddy Series

Fireman Daddy: Forever Daddy Series by Jamie Kassel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Sean is on a kinky website chatting up a sexy daddy-dom fireman who is across the country while trying to understand all about his sexuality and what suits him best. Can they meet in real life and explore things further? After all his sexy fireman has heroism, bravery and a hot body on his side. The question is will Sean's keyboard melt before his daddy can put out the fire?

I enjoyed this story although it certainly was very kinky in places. I loved Sean and his devotion to his Daddy and how patient Max was with Sean when other romantic partners would have bailed and moved on. Easy to read and understand, please make sure you read any warnings first. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

** Please know that while this is a stand-alone book, Sean is first introduced in His Sex Therapist. Additionally, this book was previously published and titled His Online Daddy.

Review: Christmas for Keeps by Ryan Taylor by Joshua Harwood 3 of 5 stars

Christmas for Keeps

Christmas for Keeps by Ryan Taylor by Joshua Harwood
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Zach was supposed to be on a winter vacation in Stowe, Vormont with his best friend but she couldn't make it, the weather was dreadful and he hit an SUV and then his hotel reservation was given away as he was so late. The SUV was owned by Connor (who was his ex although technically they never broke up) and he ended up staying with him in his cabin. Can they make it work this time?

This was a lovely story where Zach and Connor learn that communication is key and that no matter what they must talk to each other. I liked the way the neighbour became part of that lesson. A really good feel story as the women reconnected and realised that they still loved each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

** Please note that Zach and Connor were characters in Swimming Agaist The Tide and that this is their reunion and HEA story.

Review: The Christmas Manny by Sammi Cee 4 of 5 stars

The Christmas Manny

The Christmas Manny by Sammi Cee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jace is a manny and is hired to care for Rebecca and Max for a single father while he works. Jace is all sunshine and can't help but notice the dark cloud and sadness surrounding their lonely dad. Bringing love, happiness, and cheer, Jace sprinkles so much joy and glitter into their lives, that even the workaholic father gets caught up in his spell. Will one holiday season be enough time for Jace to turn Mitch’s house into a home again? And with the magic of Christmas, will they fall in love along the way, making their family complete?

This was a lovely Christmas story with family and love at the centre. I loved how positive Jace was and how he corrected mean behaviour by making the children think about it and not make them feel stupid or dictated to. I loved that he cared for the entire family making sure that they ate and that it was healthy. Unpacking the Christmas stuff and making sure that the photos of Mitch's late wife were on display again was also special. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with some mature content.

Review: Sassy Elf by M.M. Farmer 3 of 5 stars

Sassy Elf (Omega Christmas Elves Book 3)

Sassy Elf by M.M. Farmer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Omega Kevin is one of the elves in the Barrington Christmas Market. He has ambitions to get into medical school to train to be a doctor but so far all he has had are rejections. Then he hears that his teenage crush and best friend's big brother alpha Rudy Mandal is back in town after a bad break-up. When the three of them are joking around one evening Rudy dares Kevin to take a Heat Lightning pill which is supposed to trigger a mini-heat. When he does they have to spend a night together which Rudy helps him. With both men interested in each other and a bond starting to form will Kevin's dreams be trashed?

This was a sweet novella with a market elf at the centre as well as a Heat Lightening pill. I love how these omega elves keep finding their mates and ending up with their own HEA. There was the usual angst and I loved when they were trapped by a blizzard. This was a story about self-doubt, soulmates and never giving in. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and an Alpha/Omega relationship set in the omegaverse.

Review: A Daddy for Christmas: Daniel by Brina Brady 3 of 5 stars

A Daddy for Christmas: Daniel

A Daddy for Christmas: Daniel by Brina Brady
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Daniel is a gifted dancer but is in a spot after losing his job as he needs money to pay his rent and for his motorcycle. His problem is that he has a habit of flirting with everyone he meets and he also wants a daddy boyfriend but he needs to focus on his career and education first. He has an audition at the Glitter Box Club, a notorious gay hotspot for the rich and powerful. Mr. Baranov is a member of a notorious Russian mafia family and runs the club with an iron fist. He has no interest in romance or commitment and dates his club dancers for convenience as everyone knows the score. Then he sees Daniel Sparks and everything changes.

This started as an enjoyable story with the delightful brattiness of Daniel and the control great that was Mr Baranof. I loved all the danger and drama around the Baranov family and the way that he was mostly able to control and tame Daniel without him losing his spirit. I would have given this story an extra star in the rating but it ended so abruptly that I was just confused. Easy to read and feel this was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB and D/s dynamic.

Review: Secrets and Kisses by M.A. Innes 5 of 5 stars

Secrets and Kisses (Blue Ridge Magic #2)

Secrets and Kisses by M.A. Innes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stefan is a human and the librarian at Blue Ridge and has started to realise that people can come with magic and that some of them have relationship dynamics he thought were only in books and films. Dragon shifter Boyd has been given the job by the council to explain to Stefan that Mages and Dragons are real but he doesn't want to scare the adorable librarian. When people aren’t as innocent or grumpy as they seem, a curious librarian and a slightly grumpy dragon will learn that love is even stronger when there’s a bit of magic involved.

I loved this book with Stefan who was inquisitive and Boyd who was cautious but determined to care for Stefan. They were a match made in heaven. I loved the way that the other residents of the town got involved and the way that the littles asked questions, interfered and generally tried to help. I smiled and laughed through most of the book as the side characters were just hilarious. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and BSDM-like DDLB and D/s dynamics.

O Deadly Night: Volume 2: A Dark MM Charity Anthology by Faith Ryan by Duckie Mack by K.L. Hiers by Davidson King by Elouise R. East

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a collection of stories written by some great authors containing dark MM stories that will make you stop and think that sometimes there is darkness even though it is the holidays.

Silent Knight by Davidson King - a great story that I would have loved to be a full-length novel.

He Sees You When You’re Sleeping by Duckie Mack - a great twist on a stalker that although it was dark made me smile.

Stronger Together by Elouise R East: is a fun twist on stalking where Jacob seems to be having lots of trouble in his life but Ward is orchestrating everything. A great new spin on a stalker.

Here Comes Santer Clause by K.L. Hiers - a festive monster story.

All are easy to read, feel and understand. MM stories with mature content.

A Little Christmas! Travis's Secret: An MM Age Play Christmas Daddy Romance

A Little Christmas! Travis's Secret: An MM Age Play Christmas Daddy Romance by Aria Grace
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Travis was raised by nannies and lost his only parent when he was young and so he had to be very independent. He was left wealth and a caring uncle but not affection and personal care like he had craved his whole life. He has devoted his life to making custom stuffies for people who need something special but he has a secret that he is a little but can't admit it to anyone. Jared is head of security at Kink Club Primal and has been searching for a little for his Daddy for years with no success. He meets Travis and he can tell what he needs if only he can get him to admit the truth to them both.

Travis was just adorable and he was lonely even though his whole focus and business were to make people happy. I loved that Jared was there to understand him and make him feel special and safe. I liked that Jared was good enough to go slow and make sure that Travis was safe and comfortable with their relationship before anything more physical happened. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

The Billionaire's Rival (Bad Boy Billionaires, #2)

The Billionaire's Rival by Silvia Violet
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ford Wainwright is a billionaire lawyer and has wanted a fellow lawyer and tennis club member Jasper “Jay” Rollins from the moment he saw him but he insists he is straight however he does flirt with Ford every chance he gets. The chemistry between them ignites when they end up on opposing sides of a case that threatens their lives on top of their professional reputations. Can Ford keep them both safe with his resources and stop Jay from breaking his heart?

Wow, this story was full of drama, intrigue, danger and passion. I loved the way that Jay was determined to look after his Gran and sister and that meant that he would do everything he had to even if it meant he had to keep doing a job he had learned to hate. Ford was just as passionate about protecting those he loved including Jay whether he was happy about it or not. It was nice to know more about the other men from the first book in the series too. Easy to read, feel and understand I was thrilled when they were still together at the end. This is an MM story with mature content.

A Little Christmas: Oscar's Secret

A Little Christmas: Oscar's Secret by Jena Wade
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Oscar inherited a house from a relative he never knew existed and has now moved to a new city into that house and started a new job. It's all a bit overwhelming and he needs a Daddy to help him handle it all so he can slip into his little space and survive. Maxwell lives next door and he is a sexy Daddy who doesn't seem to want a Little permanently but maybe for now Oscar can survive with the playtime he is willing to give.

I had so much sympathy for Oscar when he found himself in a house on his own in a new town without friends or a Daddy nearby to care for him. Maxwell showed all of the signs of wanting to be his Daddy he just lacked the confidence to fully take on the role. I just wanted to hug Oscar and tell him everything would be ok. I loved some of the side characters who were so kind to Oscar as well as trying to persuade Maxwell that he was enough. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Christmas in Heaven

Christmas in Heaven by E.L Ough by A.E. Jensen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Heaven was orphaned at sixteen and with a disability when he was nineteen his job offered him a paid internship in the US just before Christmas. All Heaven wants is to be part of a family and cherished but is there a man who can understand him and his disability? Mason had planned to spend Christmas in the UK but was called back home as his mother had an accident and after many disasters he was sat next to a delightful young man and with a name like Heaven Leigh, he must have been sent from above.

This was such a sweet story that just made me smile from the start to the end. I loved Heaven and how very positive and kind he was as well as Mason who was protective and honourable. I loved Mason's Mum and how perceptive she was. They were two men who were perfect together and Heaven deserved this new family of his. Easy to read, feel and understand. A Little Christmas! Blaine's Secret

A Little Christmas! Blaine's Secret by Brina Brady
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Daddy Jacob knows it is time for him to find a boy so he co-sponsors a Christmas Party Mixer for 10 Daddies and 10 boys to find perfect matches for everyone. Blaine and Davie recently aged out of care and are too poor to afford transport to the mixer so to reward Blaine's bravery in calling the number and asking for help Jacob sends a car for them. Daddy Jacob immediately knows he wants Blaine, but several things stand in his way. First, there's a rule that he must mix with all the prospective boys for the five days and only make his choice on Christmas Eve, and second, he has to make Blaine choose him over the other daddies and finally; he knows Blaine won't abandon Davie without a daddy of his own. When Blaine reveals a secret, will it further complicate their situation? Can they overcome all these obstacles with the help of some Christmas magic?

This was a sweet story with two best friends who had come through the care system after a bad start in their lives and how Blaine was brave enough to make a phone call and find them their happy ever after with the Daddy of their dreams. I loved how Jacob had an instant connection with Blaine but had to be seen to follow the mixer rules even though they weren't. Clear and easy-to-understand writing. Review: Young Daddy by Lana Kyle 3 of 5 stars

Young Daddy (Older Littles & Younger Daddies, #1-3)

Young Daddy by Lana Kyle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a collection of three stories where an older Little needs a younger Daddy to give him the love and discipline that he needs. All will have a HEA and lots of body positivity.

All three books from Lana Kyle’s fun, spicy fan-favorite Older Littles & Younger Daddies series:

MY YOUNG DADDY
MY YOUNG MAFIA DADDY
MY YOUNG CONSTRUCTION DADDY

This was a sweet collection of stories that are contrary to the usual format of an older Daddy and younger Little which is a great idea. I did find the fixation and severity of the spanking a little too much for me. Easy to read, feel and understand. These are MM books with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Unmatched Devil (Damaged Devils #7)

Unmatched Devil by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rian already abducted Kylian once and since then he keeps seeing him everywhere he looks. Rian is the head of the Irish mafia in New York which is a position that has been inherited down the male line of his family and there is no way he will allow Archer Woods to build warehouses for illegal activities on his turf. He has kidnapped a few people and persuaded others not to work on the project but Kylian has him distracted which is not good for him. After his abduction which terrified him he was determined to be a fighter so took classes so he could fight back. His problem is that he wants to put Rian six feet under but also wants him - which side will win?

I loved this story which had so much danger and drama for this couple who were just perfect for each other. Their push and pull was great to read about and the cameras Rian used were outrageous but it appears that Kylian knew all about them. The coffee incident was just cheeky and gave me such a laugh. They were a perfect couple and I was so pleased they ended up together. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: A Holiday Arrangement by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

A Holiday Arrangement (Arranging Love #2)

A Holiday Arrangement by Jacey Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha Emerson disliked crowds and High-society social events but Orion Strongfire had approached him to assist him in recruiting alphas to his cause in fighting for omega rights so they couldn't be avoided. A feisty omega captured his attention across the dancefloor which was bad as he didn't have relationships or intend to claim a mate. Then Jett Strongfire cornered him and claimed he was his fated mate and he was nearly impossible to resist. Jett ran away from his aunt which was the right thing to do as his brother and his husband had been kind and showed him a whole new world of possibilities. Jett's first heat is coming soon and although Orion might be reluctant to approve a mate for him he doesn't want to be a burden on them. In his wildest dreams, he never expected someone like Emerson to be the alpha he’d want. He was significantly older, stiff, strict and had walls around his walls. And yet Jett was drawn to him in a way that was impossible to ignore. Emerson was meant to be his alpha. Now he just needs to convince him.

I enjoyed this story with the fated mates where alpha Emerson was so affected by historical events in his life that he repeatedly refused to accept omega Jett as his mate. I was heartbroken for Jett especially as he had allowed Emerson to use his body twice. I loved the young and friendly alpha who became a friend to Jett even though he was dramatically cast aside later in the story. Emerson deserved a spanking from Orion for his treatment of his half-brother. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a D/s dynamic including spanking set in the Omegaverse.

Review: Arranged by Fate by Jacey Davis 4 of 5 stars

Arranged by Fate (Arranging Love #1)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha Orion Strongfire wasn't wanting to get married but after his father almost destroyed everything after several scandals he had to do this to protect the rest of his family. Omega Lyric Inwood didn't want to get married and after the reputation that Orion's father had he was even less keen on it but as an omega, he had no power and so had to agree to protect his family. Neither had believed in fated mates but as soon as Orion's lips brushed against Lyrics he would burn down the world before letting him go and it was impossible to deny the connection as for better or worse, it seemed fate destined Lyric to belong to Orion.

I enjoyed this book which captured me from the start. I loved that they were both reluctant but unable to avoid the marriage to protect their families even though it quickly changed into something else. The link between Orion and Lyric was just so special and I loved that in private they were able to bypass the social norms that an omega was lesser than an alpha and unable to be responsible or make decisions. This was easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic with domestic discipline mostly via spanking and is set in the Omegaverse where Mpreg is possible although not in this story. Please read the content warning at the beginning of the book for a full list of triggers and kinks and skip is necessary.

** Please note this was originally featured in the anthology, Tying the Knot. It has been expanded into a full-length novel with over 30k additional content added.

Flirty Elf by M.M. Farmer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Bailey is one of the omega Elves working in the Barrington Christmas Market. Since the death of his Papa, his family comes first and he does everything he can to look after the other kids and support his Dad. Then he met baker and alpha, Crispin Merriweather and developed a major crush on him. He needs to win the Market’s Booth of the Week prize, and Bailey needs to help him do it. Crispin needs to win or there is a real danger he will lose his bakery and everything he has worked the last ten years for. This is made much worse as an old enemy is sabotaging him. Can Bailey and Crispin work together and save the bakery and get the ultimate reward of lasting love?

This was a sweet story with an alpha and omega fated mates meeting, working together to save a bakery and find a way to be together. I loved Bailey's optimism and the way that right from the start he supported his alpha. I did find that the ending and the ownership of the building were very conveniently sorted out and seemed against everything Bailey's Dad was trying to achieve. Easy to read, feel and understand. A Daddy for Christmas: Royce by Lynn Michaels
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The worst has happened and Christmas is ruined. Royce's controlling father has won, and now Royce is under his thumb, legally. No more pet play. No more Daddy Quinn. Quinn has a lot of gifts for his pup this Christmas. Starting with wheels, then enlisting his employer to help Royce get out of the conservatorship. It's what good daddies would do. Will their plan work, or will Royce be sentenced to life without his daddy?

This was a heartbreaking story as Royce's father used everything he could to ensure that Royce was put under conservatorship and that everything was taken away from him. Quinn did everything he could as his Daddy getting him the kind of legal representation that could cut through all the lies and money used to get Royce back to the life he needed and loved. The way the pet play community came together to help him was heartening. Easy to read, feel and understand this was a book to make you want to cry with sadness followed by joy. Snowed In at Christmas Cottage by Ali Ryecart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Two men, one cottage with just one bed, a booking error and lots of snow - a recipe for some Christmas magic. William has gone away for Christmas to hide from everything and everyone as his heart has been shattered and he has no idea how to start living again. Kyle arrived in the dead of night and was not expecting to be attacked by a half-naked man. Both have booked the cottage. Both are determined to stay. But as the weather worsens neither can leave, and they’re left with no choice but to stay and endure each other’s unwanted company. Exploring the winter wonderland beyond the cottage, and sharing Christmas treats by the crackling fire, a smouldering attraction starts to ignite. Can William overcome the burden of his secret heartache, and will Kyle be able to convince him that life and love are there for the taking — but only if he is brave enough to seize the chance?

This was such a sweet story with broken William learning that he can be happy again and have a future with a man who cares for him and loves him. I enjoyed the banter and some of the times they disagreed as they were passionate which was an indicator of what was to come. The ending was great and I loved that they got a HEA. Walker Remington hates the holiday season. Then young and fun-loving street musician Ajay McKerran comes along with his body piercings and coloured hair. But is Walker the right Daddy for him or will the man prove to be as cold as the Baltimore winter Ajay ventures out to play in?

This was a really sweet story as Walker and Ajay came together as fate intervened and gave them both the relationship and love that they both needed. Review: Jace's Secret: A Little Christmas by Jamie Kassel 3 of 5 stars

Jace's Secret: A Little Christmas

Jace's Secret: A Little Christmas by Jamie Kassel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jace is obsessed with Detective Garrett Locke. The man is older than him (by a lot), gruff, and serious. He might also be mostly straight. All of that is bad, but not a dealbreaker. The real problem with desperately wanting to belong to Detective Locke is that he was the man who rescued Jace when he was abducted at a young age. Jace lost his family to a madman and when the rest of the world forgot about Jace, Detective Locke didn't. He sent Jace stuffed animals every Christmas while he was in the group home. Now Jace is 24 and living his best life in the big city. He’s a nurse and occasionally tends the bar at a hip gay nightclub. What’s a luststruck boy-at-heart meant to do when the detective of his dreams comes in looking for a little relief on Saturday night? Volunteer and drop to his knees as tribute, of course!

This was a strange story but I did like Jace and the detective I just found their relationship a little weird. The main thing is that they were happy and that they were able to spend Christmas together. I did find the lack of mention of Jace's job in the later parts of the book strange as he was a nurse and people need care in a hospital no matter the time of year. Easy to read and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

They spend the next two weeks alone and Rorian insists that Everly is his fated mate. The longer they spend together the more Everly wants it to be true as he doesn't want his heart to be broken.

This was a sweet novella with the two fated mates who are finally together with the help of some unexpected friends who stopped all the forces that are trying to keep them apart. I enjoyed the ending and the result which suggests that there needs to be a follow-up story about a certain cat and the story of him and his fated mate. Easy to feel, read and understand. My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When bar manager Sam Litchfield got home from work he saw something had crash-landed in his backyard which he assumed was the meteor the radio had been talking about. What he found was a three-foot-tall alien with tentacles for arms and a broken spaceship. Sam helped Bhanzier get out of the cold and start repairs on his ship. Soon it becomes clear that Bhanzier likes being in charge, Sam likes that too and tentacles can get into lots of fun places. Sam starts to wish Bhanzier didn't ever have to leave. But two FBI agents think they know something crashed in Sam's backyard, and then Sam remembers that he signed up for the Holiday Homes Tour with judges who want to come inside, too. Sam's determined to keep Bhanzier safe from prying eyes. But is getting him back into space and losing him forever really the only way?

This was a sweet story with a cute little alien with some serious tentacle skills and Sam who loved Christmas and was fiercely protective of those he cared about. I thought the ending was a little convenient and abrupt but I was still pleased that it had a happy ending. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: A Little Christmas: Raymond by A.W. Scott 3 of 5 stars

A Little Christmas: Raymond

A Little Christmas: Raymond by A.W. Scott
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Raymond has been on his own since he was 15 and has to work nonstop to keep a roof over his head. He has been sick for ages but no one seems to know what is wrong and so he soldiers on. When his apartment becomes infested his safe place becomes unliveable and so he finds himself homeless. Instead of trying to find a solution he spends time with his new friend Finn. Pro football player Aries is energetic, goofy, athletic and loyal. He is also very jealous as his best friend Bellamy just found the love of his life in the form of Finn and so Aries realises he needs a partner who is a boy of his own. A chance meeting at a coffee shop drops Aries right in the path of a sweet, shy boy whom he wouldn't mind taking care of.

This was a sweet story that had poor Raymond doing everything he could to cope with taking care of himself while desperately needing a Daddy to take care of him. He hit the jackpot with Aries and his family who were all dedicated to making sure that he was safe and happy. I loved the way that his medical problem was simple to fix and nothing as bad as it seemed. Aries was a joy and so loving and giving to Raymond and his friends. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Drama Queen by Charlie Novak 5 of 5 stars

Drama Queen (The Court Book 1)

Drama Queen by Charlie Novak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rory is a Drag Queen known as Bubblegum Galaxy and during a drag brunch there is an accident and she catches a server which results in a pitcher of Sex on the Beach landing in rugby player West's lap. He finds her online and invites Rory out for drinks. Falling into Bed with West is not hard but balancing a full-time rugby player boyfriend, a full-time job as an electrician and evenings in drag is harder than walking in eight-inch heels. When participation in a local drag story hour draws the ire of certain locals it feels like everything might fall apart. West doesn’t understand why Rory won’t step down, but he's never been afraid of being himself. He needs West to stand beside him because he is the only man who loved him as both Rory and Bubblegum Galaxy, and he won’t let that slip away.

I loved this story. It had prejudice, abuse, bad language and threats of violence all mixed in with the need to be yourself and not be afraid to call out anything abusive or threatening. I loved the relationship between West and Rory and how even when they had a slight hiccup they were able to move past it and support each other. Their love was definitely something for the long haul. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content, some bad language and some threats of a homophobic nature.

A Little Christmas: Claus's Secret

A Little Christmas: Claus's Secret by Della Cain
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Claus is a Little which he keeps firmly hidden away, especially at work, but when he is at the local kink club Chained they announce a Little Christmas Holiday Weekend he decides to be brave as no one will know him. When he gets to the Chained's Christmas Party he almost walks face-first into Nicholas who is his boss and long-time crush.

This was a sweet story as Little Claus found his forever Daddy who just happened to already know him. I loved the way that they were able to quickly get to know each other more and yet still stay professional at work. Their kitten was sweet and the presents that they gave each other for Christmas were just lovely. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story containing mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.

Buttons: A Daddy for Christmas

Buttons: A Daddy for Christmas by Victoria Sue
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Accountant Edward did a favour for someone and found himself at a loss as to what to do with the battered and bruised young man with haunted eyes and a habit of scrubbing his hands clean until they almost bled who was clinging onto Edward's childhood stuffed bear as if it was everything. It was almost Christmas and a time when hopes and dreams come true when someone might just gather pieces of a single broken heart together, one fluffy blanket, one gentle word, and one shoulder to cry on, one step at a time.

This was a really sweet story and the history was heartbreaking. I loved that they were both new to the lifestyle and I loved the way that Edward's brother-in-law finally made Edward see what was obvious to everyone else. (I just wanted to give him a high five!). This was easy to feel the emotions involved as well as their thoughts. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Knox by Laura John 4 of 5 stars

Knox (Hunter Security #3)

Knox by Laura John
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Knox is a military veteran who now works as a bodyguard for one of the world's best security firms. He is also secretly in love with his brother's best friend Gunnar. When he is unexpectedly made homeless Gunnar offers him his spare room which he gratefully accepts even though it will be torture to stay away from him. Gunnar had only ever thought of Knox as Malcolm's younger brother but when he moved back home after returning from overseas he started noticing him as a man and is now finding living in close proximity makes it harder to stay away. Two things quickly become very clear. First, what they have runs deep for both of them and second, Knox is in danger, and someone’s out to get him. Can they stay in Malcom's good graces and watch their backs? Can their feelings weather the storm, or will rejection and danger tear them apart?

This was a story with two key story streams - the relationship between Knox and Gunnar with the impact on Malcolm and the person who was targeting Knox and wanted revenge on him. Both sides had a lot of passion however the stream targeting Knox was pure revenge. I loved the relationship between Knox and Gunnar and how they were willing to stand up for each other no matter the cost. his was easy to feel their emotions, read and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

A Little Christmas: Ozzy's Secret: MM Daddy Romance

A Little Christmas: Ozzy's Secret: MM Daddy Romance by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ozzy had a Daddy but all he did was make him cower while at the same time giving him what he had asked for. Then one night he was rescued by Trent Winterbourne, a BDSM club’s eccentric owner who invited him to spend the holidays healing at his country estate. What begins as a journey back from darkness becomes a Christmas neither will ever forget.

This was a sweet story where a little was rescued from abuse and given back some sense of self and pride in who he was. I loved how protective Trent was and how he was the only person who heard Ozzy say Red (which I find strange as usually folks in the lifestyle would never ignore that no matter who the Daddy Dom was). I loved that Trent made sure that Ozzy had warm clothes and whatever he needed including taking care of his back and upper bottom to fix the cuts. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Denver by Laura John 4 of 5 stars

Denver (Hunter Security #2)

Denver by Laura John
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Denver and Ford have been best friends since they were small boys but it was only when Denver accidentally received an explicit picture from Ford that his eyes were opened to an attraction that has grown. However, he is still his best friend and so when he arrives at the door needing a place to live there is no question that he should move in. When an unexpected gift changes his life, I’m there and commit to helping him raise the child he’s always wanted, regardless of my own heart. Ford never expected to become a single dad but at least he has his ride-or-die best friend by his side through it all. He thought it was sleep deprivation but starts to realise over time that seeing Denver with his son is doing unexpected things to his body and heart so he decides to take a chance on the unexpected. Then his work leave is cut unexpectedly short because of the case of a serial killer and so he is torn between his job as a detective and being a new father with all his new feelings towards his best friend. Will everything end up sunshine and rainbows or will their destiny be like a dark cloud with lightning ready to strike them down?

I really enjoyed this story with the two best friends, the accidental picture sent and the chain of events that were kicked off from that moment. I loved how supportive the colleagues and friends of the two men were and how they helped with the care of little Sammy. I also loved how slowly Ford went in order to help Denver feel comfortable with their change in relationship status. I loved the bonus epilogue that was available to get at the end of the book. Easy to read, feel and understand this was a book to make you go aww. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Loved Like a Little by Aria Grace 4 of 5 stars

Loved Like a Little (Blue Collar Daddies in the City #4)

Loved Like a Little by Aria Grace
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Billy has never had much self-confidence but after his Mum died his Dad became much worse and nothing he did made his Dad like him. When Billy came home after graduating from culinary school his Dad's drinking and harassment became harder to ignore, Billy's Little tendencies were harder to ignore and his extra pounds made him feel unloveable. When Axel is hired to build an apartment in the building where his doggy daycare is located he's excited for the job plus he gets to see the cute new guy there who badly needs a Daddy. The fact that Billy is really just a Little who's looking for a Daddy becomes more evident when an embarrassing situation makes both of their true selves spark to life.

I loved this story with the sweet Litle who had the most awful home life and the friends who hatched a plan to get him out of that situation with the Daddy who did everything he could to make sure it happened as soon as possible. It was great that Axel made sure that Billy knew that there was nothing wrong with him or his size. I loved that he found his happiness and had a chance to have the kind of life that he deserved. Easy to read, feel his fear and happiness and understand. This is an MM book with mature content with a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Nixon by Laura John 4 of 5 stars

Nixon (Hunter Security #1)

Nixon by Laura John
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dante Michaelson is a movie star doing the job of his dreams, with more money than he needs and a beautiful woman on his arm. However, he is lying to the world and that means as his world is comfortable his life will be flipped upside down. He has someone trying to kill him and trying to expose his deepest secret to the world and he now has a bodyguard called Nixon - he is perfection and will be the key to his undoing. Nixon has worked with many celebrities but none have made his hand twitch like Dante who is everything he ever wanted in a man and also a brat who would look fantastic bent over his knee with a red ass. But he is very much in the closet. He knows he should assign Dante a different bodyguard but he can't. Falling for Dante might be the most dangerous thing that Nixon has ever done.

I loved this story which had plenty of heat between the two men while there were swirling levels of drama and danger around Dante who was such a brat that he made everyone's life difficult. I loved his best friend Anna who was his protector until he realised how selfish he was and insisted she be herself. There were a lot of thoughts, feelings and emotions in this story and they were all clear and easy to feel and understand. I loved this story and the way it easily resonated with me as the reader. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like D/s relationship.

Naughty Elf (Omega Christmas Elves #1)

Naughty Elf by M.M. Farmer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Omega Felix is a mess who after doing a degree in music has struck out getting a job except a temporary one at the new Barrington Christmas Market as an elf. He has no romantic prospects either just a crush on Alphs and Councilman Hunter who devised the idea of the Christmas Market and is currently standing in the election to be the next mayor. When Hunter sees Felix he is the cutest and naughtiest Omega he has seen because he is everything that he has ever wanted in a boy, needs him as his Daddy badly, but could also blow everything up. Felix and Hunter are perfect together, but when the press finds out about their unconventional relationship, could that spell the end of Huner's career and the Christmas market?

This was a sweet story about a new Christmas Market, some unsavoury local politics and two men who fell in love and that meant that an Alpha Daddy found his forever Omega boy. I enjoyed the appearance of the Bangers and Mash characters in the market. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Hug Bug by Aster Rae 3 of 5 stars

Hug Bug (Hug Club #3)

Hug Bug by Aster Rae
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

BJ is a construction Little who likes to build but at the Hug Club, he bugs his friends by ramming diggers and dump trucks into their games. However, he doesn't have a Daddy and the one he wants is Bryce who is big and cuddly and when he’s not building affordable housing for under-housed LGBTQ+ families, he’s operating real-life dump trucks and cranes. When Bryce catches BJ spying on a group of construction workers, he tells him that they need to have a heart-to-heart conversation about their shared interests in the Hug Club. Will he want to be BJ's forever Daddy?

This was a sweet story but got a little silly in places with all of the construction references and sexual acts. But if you ignored that it was a Little who found his Daddy and after negotiations they committed to each other. The scene with the three Littles sharing a shower could be expanded in another book as that was definitely kink-worthy. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content with a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Nikolai by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Nikolai (Shadow Recon Book 6)

Nikolai by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nikolai had been at the camp in the Arctic almost since the beginning and one of his friends was one of the first to go missing even though he had almost more training than anyone else in the camp. He has no idea what has happened and as they find out more and more in bits and pieces he realises his friend had withheld things from him. Emily didn't say no to Mason to try and find answers from a different point of view even though answers are thin on the ground. Then another body is found which will shock them all. What is the end game and will Nikolai have someone go for him?

The mystery continues as time passes and there is another death. Nikolai and Emily are at the centre of this story and several important breakthroughs occur as they get closer to finding some of the missing people and cracking the case as to who is involved. I loved the way that this shows the way that pack mentality can occur and how close relationships can develop rapidly. As usual, I was intrigued by what was happening and who was or was not responsible for the things that were happening. Easy to read, feel and understand.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A Daddy for Christmas: Hermie

A Daddy for Christmas: Hermie by Della Cain
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hermie is a Little without a Daddy and although it is not the same he keeps telling himself that he is fine. He is careful to only open one window on his advent calendar and remove the cars for himself. So he orders himself something little and fun for Christmas. But he accidentally finds his new holiday onesie misdelivered and a stuffed octopus in its place, a daddy who realizes he gave the one who got away the wrong package, rekindled crushes, new beginnings, and the octopus stuffie that brings them together.

This was a really sweet story that brought back together two men who were perfect for each other now that they have both matured and the time is right. I loved their relationship and the clear and easy way they communicated with each other. This is a story with all the feels. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.

All I Want for Christmas is Tentacles

All I Want for Christmas is Tentacles by Chloe Archer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Khephren is being pushed into an arranged marriage with a warrior chosen by his parents but that is not what he wants to do as he dreams of travelling and falling in love with his own candidate. So he channels all the Hallmark movies he has watched and pulls a runaway groom manoeuvre with his two best friends and heads to Earth - it is almost Christmas and he wants to experience it. Sasha is not into Christmas but needs a job so starts work but then loses the part-time job. Then he and his cat are abducted by alien Khephren to help him experience Christmas. Over time Sasha's reluctance is won over and as they spend more time together he realises he might not want to go home (especially as those tentacles are so useful). Maybe this is his Christmas miracle?

This was a sweet story which was a mixture of an alien abduction, a fake fiance and a Christmas romance. I liked the feelings analysis and the sheer optimism in Khephren. This was a fun light read and there was enough romance and interest in the plight of the characters. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Our Forever Daddies : The Complete Littles of Cape Daddy (The Littles Of Cape Daddy)

Our Forever Daddies : The Complete Littles of Cape Daddy by Lana Kyle by Zack Wish
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a collection of the six books in the Littles of Cape Daddy series. All are novellas that are instalove, sassy, lots of spanking and a HEA for each Little and their Daddy.

KANE’S TRUTH
BODIE’S GAME
CODY’S CHOICE
NICO’S WISH
CALEB’S TOUCH
MAXI’S MOMENT

I found these to be a bit light on emotions or feelings as they were so instalove. There also seemed to be a preference by them all to have a quite heavy spanking using a paddle. They became a bit similar after reading one or two. Easy to read and understand. These are MM stories with mature content of a BDSM-like DDLB relationship with stuffies, diapers and spanking.

Best Friends: a coming of age novella

Best Friends: a coming of age novella by Felicity Snow
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Carter and Zach were childhood best friends who were always there for each other. At some point, their love for each other changed into something far more romantic they just hadn't told each other. Carter was a gifted actor who started in roles when he was in first grade. Zach was always there supporting him but struggled whenever Carter had to kiss someone on stage.

This was sweet but ended up being annoying as they both suffered so much needlessly if only they had been better at communication. It was easy to read but I definitely became more annoyed as the story progressed. This was an MM story with some mature content.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Billy had a busy December planned as he had a drag show soon his delivery gig, watering at catered events and his job as a mall elf. When he got there Santa Claus was very sexy and he just wanted him for Christmas as his present. Noel was bored so did a favour for a friend and took the job as Santa Claus in the Frostdale Mall. One elf called Billy is outgoing, flirtatious and way too young for him but he can't get him off of his mind.

This was a sweet story where quiet Noel can't get the outgoing Billy off of his mind and so they start a hidden relationship that everyone was aware of. Review: Designation: Submissive by Jamie Kassel 3 of 5 stars

Designation: Submissive (The Designation Series Book 1)

Designation: Submissive by Jamie Kassel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The world has advanced and governments have genetically modified soldiers to make them stronger, faster, smarter and deadlier. The downside is that they are then made into either and dominant or a submissive in an alpha/omega format where there can be knotting but no mpreg. Corporal Craig Richard is a submissive and he needs a dominant to take him through his Release Cycle and purge him of toxic hormones. Dominant Commander Samuel Flak is experienced and able to put the submissive's needs first so can handle a first-ever cycle but he dreams of having a submissive of his own permanently who needs to submit hard outside his cycle. As soon as he meets Craig Sam knows he’s found his match.

This was an interesting concept and I liked the thought that in designing the genetic mutations needed to make soldiers better they had damaged them into the dominant/submissive society that needed intense sex to purge their toxic hormones. I felt very sorry for Craig who was quite damaged and pitiful but was heartened that standards had improved since his conversion. I enjoyed their relationship and that Sam did everything that he could to care for and protect Craig. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content in a BDSM-like D/s dynamic set in an Omegaverse-type world.

Snowbody Loves Me (Christmas Falls #2)

Snowbody Loves Me by Jacki James
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Emerson was ditched at the airport just before a holiday to the Bahamas so on impulse hopped on a plane to Christmas Falls with no plan, no place to stay and nothing warm to wear. B&B owner Arlo hears him and rescues him with two days of accommodation until his scheduled guests arrive. The town and Arlo are both cute and both pull him in to stay longer. Through sleigh rides, ornament-making, and handling a winter storm that strands guests, the Gingerbread Cottage B&B, Christmas Falls, and more importantly Arlo begin to feel like home. Can Emerson and Arlo stay together?

This was a sweet story with the two men spending time together and learning more about each other and their bodies as they start to connect. I loved the joy of exploring the town together and the way that Emerson soon fit in helping Arlo do things for the B&B when necessary. I loved how Emerson's friends helped him see what was obvious just as Arlo's family did for him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

After Jack passes forty he has given up on finding his dream boy to be a Daddy for but then he meets Holli and just knows. I loved this story with the perfect family unit they made as Holli loved Jack's daughter just as much as Jack and that made them so special together. Heal Me (Love in the Pacific Northwest, #5)

Heal Me by Beck Grey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lawyer Jocelin Allard has repeatedly said no to his boss's pushy nephew but he still isn't accepting it so he created a fake boyfriend who is always busy. Then at a client event, his bluff is called and he begs a handsome stranger to play his boyfriend although he then realises that he is his best friend's brother Gunnar who also volunteers to continue it beyond one night. Architect Gunnar finds that Jocelin is smart, gorgeous and has a sexy accent. The evening goes well and so the relationship turns real until Gunnar screws up and needs to do something to try and fix it.

I just loved this story with the two men who had such an instant attraction even if their relationship had an unorthodox start and then quickly progressed into something much more. Gunnar was there to help Jocelin get past work complications from the rejection of the boss's nephew but then screwed up badly after he had his own problem and handled it badly. When Colson signed his name it assigned him to the same fate as his soulmate Bel who is a demon lord.

Sugar Cookie by A.E. Madsen
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Bisexual Clark is forty and divorced. On a short holiday visit to his sister, he decides to use a dating app to have a little fun. However, the guy he matched was his best friend's twenty-year-old son. At least it was a one-time thing and no one needs to know anything about it. Nate is working two jobs and saving up to attend culinary school but when he runs into his most recent one-night stand in the living room he knows that once will never be enough but they know there is a time limit as he is only there for the holidays.

This was a sweet story of how one of the mall elves met and found love with his father's best friend. The odds were against them but they were strong enough and it was delightful to experience the start of their relationship and the sneaking around to see each other. I liked the way that the pros and cons were often thought of by Clark even if he didn't discuss them and that Nate knew who he wanted and went for it not taking no for an answer. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
