This was the start of a new series, and the pacing reflected that — a little slower at first than I’d hoped — but once Axel and Whiplash settled into the case, the story really found its stride. I loved their history of knowing each other as kids and how that familiarity evolved into a deep adult bond when they became best friends and partners in the U.S. Marshals Service. Their connection, and especially their quiet possessiveness of each other, was one of my favourite parts. Their shorthand — finishing each other’s sentences or communicating with barely any words — takes a moment to adjust to, but it perfectly shows how tightly linked they are. The case itself was heavy, involving sex‑related crimes and powerful men pulling strings behind the scenes, and while the emotions between Axel and Whip were present, they understandably had to step aside at times so the investigation could take centre stage. There’s danger, drama, found family, and a stubborn partnership that’s clearly becoming something more. A strong emotional start to a series that promises even deeper feelings ahead. I loved this story, especially the way it explored both Davey’s struggle with sudden sight loss and Greg’s determination to support him while also dealing with his ex‑wife’s meddling and the offer of a radical treatment that could help—or make everything worse. The focus on Davey’s frustrations felt honest and heartfelt, and while Greg’s emotions were there, I did feel they could have gone a little deeper. The introduction of beep baseball was wonderful, and I loved how quickly their friends rallied around to make it happen. It added hope and joy at a time when everything felt overwhelming. This was an emotional story that swept me into their lives, though I did struggle with whether the feelings between Greg and Tom were explored deeply enough to feel fully real—and whether Greg and Davey were more of a project for Tom than a true relationship foundation. I loved this story as Remi slowly, patiently built a friendship with Benson — the man he’d quietly adored for years — and helped him find the confidence to communicate openly with his family about his autism. The sensitivity around Benson’s autism was beautifully handled, especially the varied, realistic reactions when he disclosed it. I also loved that Benson had been part of the original ASL learning group for Remi years ago, making it easy for him to pick it back up and deepen their connection as their friendship shifted into something more. Their dynamic was a gentle surprise, full of care and quiet devotion, right down to Remi talking things through with August to make sure he supported Benson in the best way. A tender, emotional story about love growing slowly, honestly, and with real understanding. This was an MM story with mature content.

It was a great touch that Brent turned to Austin and James for guidance for Scott on adapting to a sudden change in one of his senses. James’s blunt honesty, especially, added a grounding realism that made those moments stand out. I also enjoyed how they used the garage network to uncover who hit Scott’s car — a clever, satisfying thread in the mystery. While the story focused mostly on Scott’s life changing overnight, it also wove in meaningful pieces of Brent’s past, giving their relationship more depth. A very emotional read that sweeps you into their lives, their struggles, and their feelings from start to finish. This was an MM story with mature content.

This was definitely a mystery‑and‑thriller‑driven story, with Kelly and London working together to uncover what really happened to Kelly during his time in Disciplinary — and who was responsible for the terrible events involving his sister Mia. As they dug deeper, they also explored the undeniable connection growing between them, even while danger and tension surrounded every step of their investigation. I liked the surprise reveal of who killed Mathis; it added another sharp twist to an already layered mystery. It was wonderful to see Kelly finally find some happiness, even though it arrived at a strange, chaotic moment when both men were consumed by their search for answers. The story was full of emotions and feelings that were easy to understand and feel right along with them, and the ending delivered a well‑deserved happily ever after for both men. I did find myself wondering what happened next — especially how the military handled everything once the truth became public. This was an MM story with mature content.

One of my favourite parts was seeing Howard return to his own home and regain almost all of that independence, choosing the help he needed on his terms. I also appreciated that the story didn’t pretend his relationship with Gordy was perfect; the stress they were under led to some sharp moments, and that honesty made their bond feel more real. A heartfelt, emotional read with plenty of feelings throughout — and yes, you’ll cry a little. This was an MM story with mature content.

Fox Hollow was the perfect setting — a welcoming town for supernatural beings that made their growing connection feel warm and believable. The dangers they faced were fun and engaging, from bounty hunters to podcasters to the larger threat lurking in the forest. I liked the adventure woven through the romance. That said, there were a few too many coincidences and complications, which made parts of the plot feel a bit manufactured, and Dan sometimes came across as a little whiny. Still, the story had plenty of emotion, charm, and heart, with moments that were easy to feel and understand. A supernatural romance with danger, warmth, and a unique bond at its centre. This was an MM story with mature content.
