Review: Grave Misconduct by Eva Chase 5 of 5 stars

Grave Misconduct (Gang of Ghouls Book 3)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lily has fallen for the ghosts of four murdered gangsters, but that is the least of their problems as they are also coping with a real-life supervillain in the form of the local powerful man who has taken away her little sister Marisol through some kind of spell that needs they have to find her and break it. The problem is, it is hard to win a war when you are not entirely sure the kind of monsters you are fighting plus the number of them to start with. Lily is also starting to find a new dimension to her powers which may level the playing field - the question is does it make her as much of a monster as those they are up against?

There was a lot of action in this story as they faced more than their fair share of drama and danger. I loved the way that the four guys did everything that they could to support Lily while also trying to investigate the ending of their own lives back in history. I feel that Lily made some great progress on her abilities and what she could achieve with them and the guys also made progress although not on the same scale as Lily. There was a lot of trusting that was warranted as well as some double-crossing with dramatic results. It ends with a bit of a cliffhanger and so I really can't wait for the next book to come out to find out what happens next. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
