Annika Sharp is laser focussed on two aims right now - taking back the family business from her evil stepfather and protecting her family home from him too. But when sexy Banks Amana becomes involved in her plans she knows she is in trouble. Then she witnesses a murder and she gets a whole new level of trouble. Wolf shifter and alpha Banks Amana runs the family's multiple businesses and has no time for a mate or kids. Then a chance meeting with his mate turns his world completely upside down until he has to make a choice - Annika or peace. Annika and Banks went two very different lives - will they realise that they need each other or will they let their differences tear them apart?
I really enjoyed this story where Banks' world was completely thrown and after meeting and getting to know Annika there was no way he could ever go back to the way his life was previously. I loved Annika's response when she found out what he was which definitely made me chuckle. The evil stepfather and the murder that she witnessed were nice sources of danger. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
