Garridan is a comander in the army and is training the first clas of female warriors. One of them is vampire/slayer Siora who has ambitions to lead her own battalion in the upcoming conflict against demon Bakari.

I loved the hot chemistry between Garridan and Siora and the way that nothing was going to keep them apart whether that be matchmaking parents or ambitious students. Easy to read and a great introduction to the series. Contains sexual content.

I enjoyed this story with the lone shifter hiding from the world on his mountain and the lone hiker running away from her problems. Definitely a great plot by fate to make sure that Keeton and Lena met and had the chance at love (but only when he accepted that he could not ignore the fact that she was his mate). Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
