Felix Reddington, a disciplined CEO who avoids Christmas, is reluctantly pulled into holiday chaos when his sister asks him to take his nephew to see Santa. Haunted by a childhood lacking warmth, Felix has spent years prioritising business over family or joy. Clayton North, once loyal to his company for over two decades, is left jobless after restructuring. With his savings drained by his mother’s illness and grief weighing heavily after her death, he now works as a mall Santa’s helper, struggling with feelings of failure and loneliness. Despite their differences—Felix’s success and control versus Clayton’s vulnerability and brokenness—their paths cross. Felix must learn to open his heart, while Clayton must believe he is worthy of love. In the spirit of Christmas, their connection becomes a miracle: the gift of finding someone who makes you feel enough.
I loved this story about healing through love, rediscovering joy in vulnerability, and finding belonging where you least expect it. I enjoyed that love redeemed both men — Felix from emotional detachment, and Clayton from despair. It was clear that Felix had learnt to prioritise love over business, proving that success isn’t only measured in profit, and that Clayton was seen and valued, even when he feels diminished by circumstance. Some moments that will cause some tears when you realise just how broken and isolated Clayton really is. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s and DDLB dynamic.
