Orlando’s first holiday season in his new neighbourhood takes an exciting turn after working at Terrence’s house, where he learns about being “little” and what it means to find the right Daddy. Armed with new knowledge, he sets his sights on his grumpy, closeted neighbour Bastian, determined to catch his attention. Meanwhile, Bastian is stressed to discover Orlando has somehow ended up with a “Secret Santa Daddy” and is diving headfirst into exploring his little side. Convinced Orlando is being misled, Bastian tries to protect him—even if it means denying his own feelings. But Orlando isn’t about to let the man of his dreams hide forever. His solution? Invent a Secret Santa and use a little holiday cheer to bring love out of hiding.
This was a sweet Christmas romance about self-discovery, stubborn hearts, and the magic of finding love right next door. I loved that this was a Christmas story which is a time of change, hope, and miracles. I also loved that the story showed that intimacy requires boldness, trust, and the willingness to be vulnerable—even when the other person resists. It’s about the courage to reach for love despite uncertainty. This story really showed that the courage to embrace hidden desires, the healing power of holiday cheer, and the discovery that love often lives right next door, was just waiting to be unwrapped for them both. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
