Review: A LIttle Christmas: Sammy by Jamie Kassel 3 of 5 stars

A LIttle Christmas: Sammy

A LIttle Christmas: Sammy by Jamie Kassel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Samuel Owens is the perfect personal assistant—until one slip changes everything. An email meant for a casual online “daddy dom” accidentally lands in his boss Bryan’s inbox, exposing Samuel’s private (and mostly non-existent) sex life. Now Samuel fears losing his job and scrambles to convince Bryan this isn’t an HR disaster. But as the awkwardness unfolds, a surprising possibility emerges: maybe Bryan isn’t as straight as Samuel thought. And maybe, just in time for Christmas, Samuel’s mistake could lead to the intimacy he’s been longing for.

I liked this story which was playful yet layered, blending comedy, vulnerability, and the tension of blurred boundaries. I liked that it showed that mistakes can become opportunities, vulnerability can lead to intimacy, and the joy of finding acceptance where you least expect it. The awkwardness of Samuel’s blunder infused humour into the story which highlighted how laughter softens vulnerability, turning embarrassment into charm and creating space for intimacy to grow in unexpected ways. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.
