Finn has been watching cop Matty for long enough to know he is being framed but the question is will the Prince of Darkness listen to him because he knows that is not what he wants to hear. Will Finn have to disobey the head of his Mafia crime family to save Matty and put a target on his own back - is this boy worth the danger? Hard-working cop Matty hides his secret desires from everyone because he is too old, tired and not sweet enough and so no Daddy wants him - but then a new Daddy offers him the chance to fulfil his dreams. Is Finn worth the risk of being found out? Finn realises that Matty is all he ever wanted - but when all hell breaks loose can he keep him alive long enough to make him his boy and what will Matty do when he finds out who Finn really is?
I really enjoyed this story with the many facets of the story from the angst over who Finn was, the plot to frame Matty, the historic reasons for bad blood between families and the Daddy boy relationship between Finn and Matty. It was good to go through the same steps as Finn and Matty as they struggled to work out everything and how they found new unexpected allies. I loved the hesitancy from Matty about his ability to be committed enough to be a boy while working and the way that Finn was prepared to make whatever changes he needed to make in order to keep them together. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content in a BDSM DDLB relationship.
