Jewel had learnt from the past not to let people get close or attached. But she had messed up this time as a nightmare from her past had reappeared and this time she might not survive. Jason had intended to slowly build up Jewel's trust in him in order to prove that he could be her man, lover and Daddy. But then she had disappeared and whoever had her was going to pay as Jason had some secrets of his own - they had unleashed the beast and they needed to prepare for the consequences.

I loved the way that Jason was far more complex than certainly, I had realised and that this book was all about both of them finding out each other's secrets, learning to trust the other and then taking action to solidify their relationship (while dealing with the problems around them). There was a lot about emotions, thoughts and feelings in this one which was quite interesting as it was the only way to bring these two people together. Contains mature content around a BDSM DDLG relationship.
