When Remy dodges a flying coffee cup from an insane lawyer and ends up quitting his job he is not sure what to do but whipped cream and sprinkles make everything better and so he goes to the coffee shop only for the strange barista to offer him a job. Brooks thought he had done his due diligence before he want to work for the new firm but he hadn't and so needs to figure out what to do next plus he needs to work out what to do to fix things with the sweetest and shiest admin he has ever met (If he can figure out where he as disappeared to). When a shy boy meets a cautious Daddy, sometimes they need a push to find their happily ever after—but what else are friends for?
I loved this story with the outrageous Skylar playing a continuously interfering cupid between the shy boy/sub and the determined Daddy. Brooks had to go carefully as he did what he needed to do to gain the confidence and trust of the shy Remy who was just a cutie. I was so pleased that everything was worked out so that he could work, study and eventually qualify as the lawyer that he wanted to be. Easy to read, feel and understand it was a delightful journey to make with the characters. This is a short mature content MM story containing a BDSM D/s and DDLB relationship.
