Daniel thought his boyfriend Easton was sweet and sexy but he was also hiding something he just had no idea what it was. After nine months of being together, he was ready to go to the next level but this evasiveness was standing in the way. Easton had a secret - he really hadn't meant for their relationship to go far before telling Daniel but he was now afraid it was too late. After all, how could he have fallen for someone without telling them? Daniel wouldn't deliberately hurt him, but he wasn't sure how Daniel would react. Not every man could understand that their boyfriend had a thing for satin and lace.
This was a lovely short story as an introduction to the series. I liked the way that the thoughts and emotions of both of the guys were described well and how they were both tortured about the whole secret issue. I loved Daniel's reaction to it and how it showed Easton that he should have told him before and not gotten so nervous about it. Easy to read, feel and understand. An MM story with a little mature content.
