Gia Adler is marrying her soul mate but as they take the wedding photos her ex-boyfriend gives her the kind of present of nightmares as he shoots her new husband in the chest and puts him into a coma. As she takes a short break to clear her head life gets so much worse for Gia when she is abducted and taken into an underground world which is the equivalent of hell with drugs, death prostitution and the promise that she is not coming back. The spirit of her husband tries to help her and guide her out, but in order to come out she has to somehow handle the demons of her ex and the past.
I loved this story - it was well written and had lots of twists and turns in order to keep you wondering what would happen next. I loved the idea of the spirit of her comatose husband helping her and all the secrets and dirty laundry from the past being dragged up and resolved.
