Brent is notorious for his bad luck with men and now he has fallen for a Dom who he can't have especially as all he gets is mixed signals from him. Taking time off work is not likely to make it any better. Calen has a problem as he is a Dom who has particular requirements that no one will understand and he is never likely to find a Sub who will understand so he never goes for anything more than a one-night scene. This is made much worse when he has fallen for a sub who he can't have.
I enjoyed this story of the two best friends who wanted each other but assumed that they were not wanted by each other, I liked the explanation of the unusual way that Dom Calen wanted his submissive to act and that Brent was happy to play that role as long as they could be together. I really felt for them both and it was quite emotional when they finally were able to get together before they completely self-destructed. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is a story containing MM mature content containing a BSDM-like D/s relationship.
