Omega Dakota is creative, passionate and too focused on his work as an author so needs a keeper to make sure he does things like eat, sleep and even shower. Dom Tristan has had a thing for Dakota since before he met him in real life and after a chance meeting he can feel the connection between them. So when he hears that Dakota needs an assistant he applies as it is a role he was born to play. When a distracted, artistic sub meets a Dom with a thing for organization and role-playing, a beautiful masterpiece of a relationship can’t be far behind.
I enjoyed this story with the care that Tristan took over caring for the disorganised and ill-disciplined Dakota and the care he also took of Wade who was still struggling with the loss of his husband which was both heartbreaking and inspiring. I loved the way that Tristan knew Dakota's book plots so well and that he was able to stop into the role of the dom in the stories. It was easy to read, feel and understand. This story contains MM mature content with a BSDM-like D/s dynamic featuring spanking and non-shifter alpha/omega dynamics.
