Jayme is tired of being told he is too much to handle. He has too much energy, is too distracted and is just too plain exhausting. He has given up trying to find a perfect Daddy and has moved to help his brother Hayley run his shop. The mysterious man in the shadows might be his perfect type but he is done with dating until the man steps out of the shadows and starts to take over Jaime's life in all of the best ways. But there is more to Lance than his gentle hands and quiet confidence - can Jayme get past the danger that comes from being called Lance's kitten? Lance waited and watched and now it is time to claim his boy. Lance has a house and a new job and all he needs now is his boy at his side. He's known Jayme was his from the first time he laid eyes on the bundle of energy - bringing him into his world is dangerous by being with him might destroy Lance.
I loved this story with the way that Lance cared enough to find a unique way to control Jayme's energy and find out how to get him much calmer. The fact that he found a way to help him to integrate into Lance's work in such a way that he was safe and in touch meant a great deal to them both and was a perfect solution. The way that being a kitten was the perfect solution to getting rid of this energy and quieting his mind was genius and a perfect example of what a great Daddy Lance was for him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This book contains mature MM content in a BDSM-like DDLB relationship with some kitten play.
