Maddox was drawn to Bryan from the time that they met but although they were best friends and almost inseparable, there was something missing that he just couldn't work out. He seemed to be very quiet about his sexuality and did not date anyone. Bryan did not know what to do - as much as he felt for Maddox he was terrified of telling him his deepest secret as he didn't want to lose him as his friend so had resolved to settle for that.
I loved this story which followed the two friends as Bryan tortured himself on how he could tell Maddox about his need for a Daddy and how Maddox was puzzled about what was missing as he felt he was not seeing all of Bryan. Deep down this was two young men who loved each other deeply and were wasting time by not communicating enough. I loved Byan's Mum who did whatever it took to support them both as well as encourage the communication that was needed. I was thrilled when they finally opened up to each other and that Madox stepped up to the plate determined to make Bryan happy. I just hope that they can cope next year at college. Easy to read, feel and understand. This story contains some MM mature content with BDSM-like BBLB and minor diaper use.
