Ty Golden lives above the art gallery and is focused on keeping his independence and studying for a career in hair and makeup while working as a non-sexual escort to make for his rent, food and courses. Vic Black has been badly burned in love and life and so worked part-time in the art gallery while he crochets for himself and to order. From friendship, they are totally unprepared when love arrives and they need to learn to trust each other and have confidence in their love.
I enjoyed this story with the attraction, uncertainty, and trust issues and how they overcame them. I loved the way that the circle of friends were close and able to socialise together. I loved the way that they were able to talk through most issues and that it only took a conversation with family to help them through any other problems. They were both adorable people and I was thrilled when they managed to sort out all of their problems. Easy to read, feel and understand, I was totally rooting for them as they navigated all of the problems of real life. This is an MM story with a steamy, age-gap romance with some mention of historic abuse.
