Ash has a successful indie makeup brand which twists gender norms and makes everyone feel gorgeous. However, privately he keeps his scars hidden and locks his heart tightly away. College professor Steve teaches mathematics and lives alone with his turtle Tullah but is a Daddy with no little to care for and anxiety after his last one accused him of smothering them. One night at the kink club Collared, two mixed-up orders and three minutes in the dark bring the two men’s worlds into collision and leave both wondering if maybe, just maybe, they found the man they were looking for.
I enjoyed this story with the two damaged men (one physical and one mental) and their journey to learn to trust each other. I also enjoyed the way they had to learn that you don't always need what you thought you wanted. Easy to read, feel and understand I enjoyed this MM story with mature content in a BDSM-like story with a DDLB relationship including makeup and diapers (ABDL).
