Nigel is from a small town in the Midwest and dreams of having a Daddy of his own but where he lives he is barely tolerated before he tries to find one for himself. He wins a themed holiday to NYC and so he intends to explore his love of fashion and his desire to be someone's boy. Omar has never been able to find someone to share his life but one of the Daddies at The Tao Tavern persuades him to attend a Daddy/boy event in NYC and so he goes without any expectations. He meets a beautiful young man at the Statue of Liberty before the meet and greet and is sad that he is not an option.
I enjoyed this book with the Daddy who met his boy before the event only to find him again. I loved how much he loved his boy and that relocation was the price he would happily pay to be with the man he loved. The bullying and facial abuse were sensitively handled and I liked that he had a couple of really strong people who were on his side at home. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains MM mature content with a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
** Please note this was originally published as A Monumental Love as part of the Destination Daddies Season Two multi-author series but has since been expanded.
