After his father kicked him off the Bluebird Ranch for being gay Ripley Ellis never intended to return from his life in the city. But thanks to his homophobic father the only way he can claim his inheritance is to love back and stay for a year. Rancher Reed Warner retired from the rodeo circuit and is happy with the life he has even though it is not easy. However, Ripley just inherited the ranch he was going to buy. If they can put aside their differences and work together, they may both find exactly what they’re looking for.
I enjoyed this story with the rancher who was happy and looking forward to the future until the very gay son arrived and sparks started to fly. I loved this story with Ripley who was quite a surprise to Reed who just assumed he knew nothing and Reed who was a Daddy who was so careful and protective of Ripley. This was the kind of story to make you smile and sigh when they finally started to realise that they belonged together. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains MM mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.
