After 20 years in the Navy Donovan McCall was looking forward to a retirement where no one would answer to him and he could raise rabbits and take care of chickens on his farm. Tattoo artist Maverick has always liked stronger older men and is not keen on being told what to do but when these two men meet and they realise that they actually want the opposite of what they thought then Donovan will become Maverick's Daddy and they will have to work together to figure out their future.
I enjoyed this story with the two men who found their future happiness in each other - they just needed to trust each other to build it together. I liked the way they were able to communicate clearly and that Donovan was such great support for Marerick in order to achieve his dreams without anything negative happening to his health. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains MM mature content with a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
