Omega Quinn did not believe in fated mates and was far too busy running his bakery and so when alpha Lachlan barged to the front of the queue one morning he just let rip and banned him. Then their hands touched, he felt electricity and his soul screamed Mate. As opposites surely Fate had got it wrong, but all that Lachlan wanted was Quinn, but he was not interested - let the chase begin.
I really enjoyed this story with two unlikely mates that might appear to be the worst idea out there, but actually worked incredibly well. It was great how Lachlan was not how people would have assumed him to be and that that was a great example of how well they went together. I loved the immature and mature discussions about feelings and their future which I could definitely imagine them doing for real. Contains mature content. Please note that this is an M/Mpreg story containing knotting and some discussion of termination although it is never taken any further.
