Trace Romero is a Hawkeye operative and is assigned to keep his boss's little sister (and her work secrets) safe after her house is broken into. Aimee Inamorata finds the arrival of the dominant man irritating - he is turning her life upside down and is the kind of man she has spent her life avoiding. But he is also lighting a fire within her that is threatening to consume her. The madman is closer than anyone thinks and Aimee needs to learn to trust Trace before it is too late.
I loved this story which was a mixture of a story about them and their relationship merged into the story about the killer coming after her and the secret project she has been working on. I loved the way that he introduced her to the BDSM lifestyle and the way she seems to be a natural at it. I was thrilled when it was all sorted that he made some very permanent decisions about them and their relationship which were right but also the method of those decisions was very dominant. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content and lots of descriptions of BDSM behaviours.
