Social media influencer Olivia tries to promote up-and-coming artists and is not afraid of going against the bigwigs who are the gatekeepers to the industry - the worst of which is Henry Darrow. Then she and Henry are set up on a blind date by Gerri Wilder. As soon as Henry touches Olivia he realises that she is his mate and he releases that the only way she will have anything to do with him is if he changes his ways and finds a way to compromise. Not being a shifter Olivia is not affected by that but she is pleasantly surprised when he is not as bad as she thought and was even starting to want him more than her next breath. When an unhinged shifter artist targets Olivia for not putting him on her podcast Henry realises that there is far more at stake and he will do anything at any cost to protect her.
I enjoyed this story which was a nice addition to the Paranormal Dating Agency series of books. I liked that Henry had to make some fairly major changes for her and that at the same time their viewpoints were not so far apart they just went about it in a different way. As always there are crossed wires and a threat which Henry managed to counter quite well. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.
