Samuel Carter has prioritised one mission above everything else - taking down the terrorist organisation that destroyed his family. Dangerous threats and the underbelly of Washington politics threaten to take the choice away and destroy them both. They must work together to survive.
I really enjoyed this story which had the intense attraction between Samuel and Erin, the old enemies of Solitaire trying to bring Samuel down, the attacks on Erin and their sexual discovery of each other. The way that the Solitaire family all supported the couple was a delight to see as they did what they could to help them with the attacks, the political situation and Erin's BDSM questions. I enjoyed his ineptitude at communication and having a relationship which was a little at odds with his skills as a marine. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content some of which is of a BDSM nature.
