Matthew Bruce has a lot of secrets from his friends at Club Solitaire - he is secretly married to someone in UK nobility and yet he is in love with his wife's little sister. Plus there is the big secret - he is not dead like everyone thinks. Then he recently discovered that his grandfather was part of the international underground organisation that his friends have been tracking down. Then Kendall Livingston his wife's little sister tracks him down and so he now has to keep them both safe and Kendall out of his bed.
I enjoyed this story with the marriage of convenience and the problems around that which seriously messed up both of their lives. I loved sassy Kendall who was much more than she appeared and incredibly valuable in investigating the real problems that were facing the club and more importantly why. I did find Gemma a bit strange and her ability to say highly inappropriate things was actually quite nasty and so did detract from the story. It was easy to read but a little frustrating at times. Contains mature content with BDSM scenarios.
