Review: Red Sin by Aleatha Romig 4 of 5 stars

Red Sin (Sin, #1)

Red Sin by Aleatha Romig
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Julia McGrath had just discovered that her fiance had been sleeping with her best friend and walked away to take a contact to write the biography of a reclusive businessman when she was stuck in a blizzard. Julia and Van found each other in that blizzard and were stranded in a cabin. They had an instant attraction that denied common understanding and so spent the time together with the agreement to walk away and never see each other again. Businessman Donovan Sherman is a wolf who leaves wounded prey and victims in his wake thanks to what he learned from his mentor Lennox Demetri. When he meets Julia no matter their agreement when she walks in as the person writing his biography everything changes.

In this book, we learnt how when Van and Julia met a chain of events started that meant that Julia came into her own as her own person, Van found that there is more to winning than destroying a business, and they also both discovered a deep and meaningful passion that they were not able to deny. There was a big cliffhanger at the end of this story and I'm intrigued about how they are going to get past that one. Easy to read and understand I was definitely bought into the story and wanted them to have the HEA they deserved.
