Review: Buying You by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Buying You

Buying You by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dane is a beautiful cover model on billboards, buses and magazine covers. He knows being prized for his looks is shallow but he is on his way to having it all. When he returns to his hometown to participate in a charity dates for donations auction it seems quite innocent until a hooded man walks in, bids higher on him than anyone else, and then when it is over the guy has vanished leaving only a limo behind to take Dane off into the night.

I quite enjoyed this story which was a mystery followed by some exploration before we understood how the trust issues went more than one way. The story was quite steamy and in some ways surprising considering how good-looking they both were. I enjoyed their discussions about the past and how sometimes things that might not have appeared to be important later become that way. Easy to read, feel and understand. Lots of passion in this MM story containing mature content and a HEA.

Review: Little Boy Blu by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Little Boy Blu

Little Boy Blu by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Blu is one of the youngest defence attorneys at his firm and he has to believe they are innocent even if they are not. When he goes home he just needs to relax with a secret is that he is a Little and he likes to eat macaroni and cheese or dino nuggets, wear soft onesie jammies with feet, colour, watch cartoons, uses a binky and plays with his stuffies. He knows there are Daddies out there but he is far too shy and doesn't want his career to end if he was ever found out. Interviewing new client Makson Ferridyn (Maks) his world turns upside-down. After representing him he accidentally drops a candy pacifier ring pop and Daddy Maks is determined to make him his boy.

This was a really sweet story as the two men meet, start to date and explore their kinks and fall into a relationship that is lasting and gives them both exactly what they needed. I loved that they were both very clear in their communication and willing to make some adjustments to their lives to make sure that they could continue to explore their relationship. Easy to read, feel and understand with was a delightful read. This is an MM story containing mature content with a BSDM-like DDLB relationship including sucking and praise kinks.

Review: Commitment Issues by Ali Ryecart 4 of 5 stars

Commitment Issues (Silver Foxes #1)

Commitment Issues by Ali Ryecart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Elliot thinks that Freddie is way too young for him as he is old enough to be his father even though he is an adorable mix of sexy, smart, sassy, shy and sweet. But he doesn't want to be forced to take him as his fake date to his oldest friend's wedding just because his cheating ex is going to be there too. To Freddie, Elliot is everything that he wants in a man as he fulfils his ultimate silver fox fantasy. But he has had his heart broken before and so he won't let that happen again. From a fake date to friends with benefits, commitment’s not part of the deal. So where does falling in love fit in?

I loved how this story went from learning to know each other, to being protective of each other, to be physical and then to the friends-with-benefits stage. It was a sweet story with a cute older dog, friends who were happy to interfere and a few moments of angst. The ex was just evil and Elliot was well rid of him. In the end, they both made a really cute couple. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Secret Simon by Davidson King 4 of 5 stars

Secret Simon (Haven Hart #8)

Secret Simon by Davidson King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Simon is the nephew of infamous mob boss Christopher Manos and his husband Snow and with enemies everywhere he is at college for a fresh start with a new last name and secrets hidden from everyone around him. Life is going according to plan until he sees Rush Abernathy and then he just falls in love. Rush is more into singing and dancing but as he is a descendant of those who started the University (and it is named after) he resigns himself to please his father and study English. After meeting Simon he has a reason to fight for what he wants but it appears that their love story has created a chain reaction that will end in secrets revealed, murderous plots and finding forever buried under so many lies. Will they live long enough to see it?

I loved this story with an adult Simon (Eight) at college, meeting the love of his life, and between them both having more secrets than they could ever manage on their own. I loved how Snow and then Christopher got involved in helping Simon and Rush to survive and have their HEA even if it had a number of major bumps in the road to get there. I loved how the evilest person was not who you expected and that through it all family came together to conquer all. Contains MM mature content. You need to have read the Haven Hart series by the author first to understand the Manos family and the dynamics around them all.

Review: Jack's Giant by Sue Brown 3 of 5 stars

Jack's Giant (Bearytales in the Wood #4)

Jack's Giant by Sue Brown
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jack rides the bus into town aiming to hide from a bad man, get a job and find his forever Daddy. What he didn't expect was to be knocked down by the town giant but when he wakes to find he is in the arms of PJ Brenner he finds that he may have completed all his aims in one go if he is brave enough to admit his secret. PJ's brothers saved their boys from life-threatening situations but he knocked his own boy to the ground. So now he is determined to help whether Jack wants it or not by taking him home, finding him a job, finding him somewhere to live and finding out what he is hiding. Can PJ give jack the HEA he actually wants as PJ certainly wants to
be that man.

I enjoyed this story which was a nice break from finding boys at or from the Kingdom Mountain theme park. As always there was a problem as they were both stubborn and not communicating properly but thankfully it was all worked out and the HEA did finally happen. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains some mature MM content of a BSDM-like DDLB nature.

Review: Raven's Hart by Davidson King 5 of 5 stars

Raven's Hart (Haven Hart Universe #7)

Raven's Hart by Davidson King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Haven Hart stands because there is a balance between good and evil and Poe is in the middle of it all keeping that balance. The people, the city and everyone he loves and holds dear to him are now in serious jeopardy and he needs the help of his friends to fight the ultimate battle. When the dust settles will betrayals be forgiven? Will the city still be standing? Will Poe’s beloved be at his side or will everything crumble? One thing is for certain, everything will be tested, and questions will finally be answered.

Wow, this was a great finale to the series which answered a lot of questions and told us much more about Poe and some of the names that have been dropped into the previous stories but we had no idea who they are. I loved seeing the softer side of Poe and understanding him better as well as seeing the way that the main players all worked together to defeat their common enemy. There was tenderness, romance, drama, danger and even some heart-stopping moments that were overcome. I was definitely addicted to this and could not put it down. Easy to read, feel and understand this was definitely a fitting book to complete the story. Contains MM mature content.

FEATURED NEW RELEASE - Wanted by the Forbidden Wolf (Brothers of the Lawless Pack Book 1) by Rachel Medhurst

When the forbidden werewolf howls for her, she runs... straight into his arms.

Violet

Fender Gregory humiliated me. His rock solid body and dangerous tattoos might attract every stray female from the Brothers of the Lawless Pack, but not me. He might claim to have rescued me from my nasty step-father, but he ruined any chance I had at becoming the alpha of my ancestral pack. All because of money.

So what does a girl do with a too sexy forbidden werewolf who has a thing for female alpha-heirs? Why use him, of course. Not just for his glorious body, but to help me leave the Lawless Pack and reclaim my rightful role as alpha.

Fender Gregory owes me and I'm about to collect.

Fender

Violent thinks she has me under her claw. Admittedly, when I first saw her, I wanted - no needed - to have her. And she used that to her advantage. Until now.

She has something I want and as heir to the Fire Moon Pack, she's in the best position to get it. I just have to make sure she doesn't get under my skin. If I fall for her, my life will be over, and so will hers.

Violet Woodville can't find out who I really am or she'll end me herself.

This paranormal romance series follows stray bad boy werewolves who just might bite...

Review: Boy Tangled by Sue Brown 3 of 5 stars

Boy Tangled (Bearytales in the Wood, #3)

Boy Tangled by Sue Brown
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jake Brenner is a Daddy and has been watching barman Aaron for ages wanting him but missing that he is actually interested. Aaron has been lusting after Jake but felt that he was never seen or appreciated. When Aaron threw Jake and his brothers out of the Tin Bar he loses his job and through chance, Jake finds him at the side of the road. Can Daddy Jake give Aaron all that he needs while being careful to not cage him and not lock him in a room? Can Aaron give Jake the chance to care for him while he tries to save boys?

I enjoyed this story and the fact that the original angst between the two men was eventually replaced with trust and a chance for them to give each other exactly what they needed. I loved that Jake was able to handle exactly the kind of lifestyle that Aaron needed. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story contains mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship with some cross-dressing.

Review: Triple Threat by Davidson King 4 of 5 stars

Triple Threat (Haven Hart Universe #6)

Triple Threat by Davidson King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Working for the most successful assassin organisation in the world means that Lee, Jones and Ginger deal with dangerous situations as stress daily. But the friction that sparks between them is something more and so when they all work on the same job together ignoring the heat of desire seems impossible. Lee is a master at cracking codes and hacking but his feeling for Jones and Ginger may be something he can't crack. Jones deals with absolutes but his past is full of bodies and regrets. Getting Lee to admit the pull they both feel for Ginger may be his hardest mission. Ginger struggles with guilt and falling for Lee and Jones will either mean he loses or gains everything he ever wanted. The three work together to take down a human trafficking ring and save a desperate soul. Can they face the toughest challenge of their lives and become…a triple threat?

I really enjoyed this story with the different threads of the story and the way that they all centred around the three men. It was a great foundation that they all started from a respect for each other which then had the lust which when combined and given time translated into love. The story was suitably dramatic and there was plenty of danger and destruction although they were also moments of tenderness, care and love. I loved the family connection and the way that Black was there to support and help which had to be because of Quinn's effect on him. Easy to read, feel and understand this will make sure you sigh a few times. This an MMM story containing mature content as well as some violence.

My Daddy Is A Hacker (Fluffy Protectors #3)

My Daddy Is A Hacker by Aster Rae
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Hacker/hitman Tommaso and Enzo have trust issues due to previous partners who proved to be untrustworthy. As hard as Tommaso tries Enzo refuses to have anything to do with him but he will keep on and wear him down. A major complication is that Tommaso is only 23 and Enzo is 37 and so he feels he is not mature enough. Can they handle everything that is thrown at them and find a way to be together?

I enjoyed this story although I'm still not convinced by the style of writing. I liked that Enzo played hard to get as so many of these stories are too instalove. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM short story containing a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

FEATURED NEW RELEASE - His Curvy Rejected Mate (The Five Packs Book 4) by Cate C. Wells

#wolfpackreads #wolfpackbookbuzz #kindleunlimited #pnr #paranormalromance #shifterromance #newreleasebook

He had his chance. He blew it, and I’m out of here.

Flora

I’m at the bottom of the pack. I’m female, I have no family left, and everywhere a shifter is supposed to be hard, I’m soft and round. There’s one bright spot in my days—Alec Cameron.

He’s hard in every way—so distant that he’s ice cold—but once in a while, he gives me a nod, and we sneak off to the woods. He’s not cold then. Not at all.

I used to dream that Fate would make it official, but after so many years, I’ve given up hope. Then, at a pack run, heat strikes. Alec Cameron is my mate.

In front of everyone, he turns his back on me.

I didn’t know how cold he could be, but I do now, and I’ve got a choice to make. Do I hang around and deal with this messed up pack like I always have? Or do I take my new wolf, break free, and forge a new path of our own?

Alec

This pack is falling apart. Literally. I spend my days patching together buildings that are inches from sliding down the mountain. In my free time, I have to compete with the other two males vying for Salt Mountain alpha, the world’s worst job.

I’m constantly holding everything together, and until the night of the last full moon run, there was at least one bright spot in my days.

Then Flora Ritchie goes into heat at the worst possible time and place, and in all the chaos and revelations, I lose my grip. And my temper.

In the blink of an eye, my mate is gone.

I know how to fix things, not feelings, but if I don’t figure it out, and quickly, I’m going to lose it all.

Review: Puppy for Daddy by Aster Rae 2 of 5 stars

Puppy for Daddy (Pet Play by the Lake)

Puppy for Daddy by Aster Rae
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Ace was sent to Pet Play By The Lake event in Tahoe because someone was trying to "pup-nap" and so his mission is to stop a single puppy from being harmed. Then he was Walt and he was smitten the second he saw him. Walt is smooth, petite and twenty-five. However, Walt is looking for a Master Daddy and Ace hasn't been one since his last relationship failed. Can he battle a pup-napper and make the adorable puppy his?

I enjoyed this story but it was a bit strange. I didn't think the cover matched the description of either man, the hitman type characters are a bit strange with their ways of describing sexual things and although I loved that Ace and Walt were able to be together I was a bit unsure of the identity of the pup that he was supposed to be the protector of as it was a bit disconnected to say at the end that he was actually protecting Walt all along. It just didn't hand together well. This is a MM book containing mature content of a BSDM-like DDLB nature.

Beau Bear (Bearytales in the Wood, #2)

Beau Bear by Sue Brown
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Vinny is another boy rescued from the Kingdon Mountain Theme Park and Damien is convinced that he needs a younger Daddy to take care of him, but Vinny doesn't see it that way. Who is going to win this battle of wills?

I enjoyed this short story which covered the treatment that Vinney experienced and that Damien was perfect for him. I loved how everyone knew that Damien and Vinny belonged together it was just Damien who needed to be convinced. Easy to read and understand there were definitely times when I would have a=happly shaken Damien. This book contains mature MM content of the BSDM-like DDLB type of relationship.

Review: Snow Storm by Davidson King 5 of 5 stars

Snow Storm (Haven Hart Universe, #5)

Snow Storm by Davidson King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Christopher Manos is the crime boss who reigns over the city of Haven Hart but for the last five years, his nature has been tempered by the loving devotion of his husband Snow and his nephew Simon (who he adores like a son). But a birthday trip for Simon is interrupted by a hail of bullets and explosions as they are taken. Snow has found a home, family and love from Christopher and so when they are kidnapped Snow risks everything to find his family. Using the special skills he learnt on the streets and those running a city that he learnt from his husband Snow takes on roles he never imagined he would as he becomes the protector, leader and avenger as no one threatens his family. Knowing he can't do this alone he calls in every favour he owed and promises favours in return to save his family and the man he loves. Sins of his family's past are coming back to threaten Christopher and even with the help of some unlikely and uniquely dangerous people, Snow finds himself wondering if their efforts will be enough to save the two most important people in his life. Will the loving family Snow has finally found be taken from him forever?

I loved this story as it pushed Snow so far outside of his normal role and comfort zone. Through it all, he used all of his skills and observations to do everything he could to find out who was holding his family and what he needed to do to save them. I loved that his love for this family was always front and centre in his motivation to get them back and that he would pretty much do anything that he deemed was needed to get them back. This was definitely a story full of emotion and a rollercoaster as they were taken and progress was made to find and then free them. I loved how even in his desperation Snow never stopped caring for the welfare of those in his wider family. Easy to read, feel and understand you will feel emotional at times as you read this. This MM story contains mature content and violence.

From These Ashes (Haven Hart Universe #4)

From These Ashes by Davidson King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Long ago he vowed never to love again as he just needed the occasional one-night stand but then came along Quill and his life was irrevocably changed as he never expected his persistence to alter the way he sees the world or lives it. Quill has bad taste in men as well as horrible luck and so when his past and present collide an unlikely antihero steps in to protect him and his life is turned on its head. Black is the man of his dreams but his idea of protection is very different to Quill's. Will Black and Quill be consumed by the flames, or from these ashes, will they find their own happily ever after?

Prancing With Daddy (Pet Play by the Lake)

Prancing With Daddy by Morticia Knight
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It's time for another annual Pet Play by the Lake LGBTQ charity event in Tahoe where pets from around the world arrive in search of a new master to just show off their skills with their Daddy. Shane is tasked with overseeing the festivities. Cody owns a ranch in Montana and has a side hustle to make leather harnesses, collars and leashes for the kink community and so has rented a booth for the weekend. Once Cody spots grumpy and older Shane he recognises a boy who needs to let go and to prance with his inner pony, but every time he tries to apply for the job he is rebuffed. Will Shane’s scars from a humiliating relationship prevent him from finding the happiness he secretly craves with the carefree Cody? And will a long-distance relationship prove impossible for them to sustain?

This was a story with emotions, focussing on things that were not as important as they seemed, prioritising yourself and learning to rust again. I enjoyed this story which was a short story but a good light-hearted read. This MM story contains mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship including pet play.

He is a deadly assassin and is well known for killing whole families and getting away without a trace. Mace uses his veil of conceit to keep others at a distance, rarely trusting anyone. Bill and Mace have to put their differences aside to protect the Manos family from a brilliant foe as Bill and Mace’s traitorous hearts draw them closer together no matter how hard they fight the inevitable. With the lives of their loved ones hanging in the balance, they find themselves in the middle of a dangerous dance. But when the music stops, will they both be left standing?

I really enjoyed the drama of this story and the way that something that affected Snow so much was a way of pulling Mace and Bill together. I liked that the dislike between the two men was translated into a passion and that they were both as intense. I loved the way that Mace was so good-looking but was able to move without a trace - something you would expect to be impossible to achieve. I loved the depth of feelings and the way it was easy to read and feel. The MM story contains mature content and violence.

While keeping his head down his life changes when he saves an eight-year-old boy from two thugs. Powerful crime boss Christopher Manos would never ask anyone to do anything that he wasn't prepared to do himself. He also hates secrets as they can get you killed and he trusts no one. Tricked by Daddy: Billionaire Doms of Crash Book Six

Tricked by Daddy: Billionaire Doms of Crash Book Six by Amarra Skye
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Dylan wakes up daily frightened that his secrets have been exposed and that everyone finds out he is a Little and writes erotic fiction. He is a respected part-owner of a billion-dollar software company and so he wants those facts to be hidden from his colleagues. In a high-level meeting, his cover artist walks in after being engaged by his company to illustrate covers for their new line of games and so he prays that he is not outed. His hopes are demolished when he not only whips out his book cover as a sample of his work but then waxes poetic about how great the sex is. Sm is also his Daddy and they had not met in person before the meeting. Will Sam’s heavy-handed pushing and loving support give him the courage to out himself and live the life he's always dreamed of?

I enjoyed this story of the way that Dylan was so sweet and yet so easy to panic and Sam was quite evil even though it was within the bounds of their agreements or limits. I loved the hot way that they came together and the way that Sam pushed Dylan's limits. Dylan and Sam had a great relationship and I liked the way that they were very respectful as was all the deep affection that existed between them. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with a BSDM-like DDLB relationship including sadism, masochism and some humiliation.

Third Time Lucky

Third Time Lucky by Aurora Crane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Grady Donehue has learnt the hard way that trust doesn't go both ways not once but twice and is about to make the same mistake a third time. He struck up a strange friendship with a strange but straight soldier. Lake has sunshine in his eyes and Grady can handle helping Lake to figure out if he is not so straight in a hands-on way but will not fall in love with him. Lake McKenna has been confident his whole life as to who he is and what he wants and that did not include another man. But the more time Lake spends with Grady the more he thinks that he is exactly what he needs. Neither man was prepared for the other, but Lake is nothing if not flexible. Doubt isn’t part of his makeup. He knows how much more incredible they could be together if only Grady could see it too. But Grady has to decide if Lake is worth risking his heart again and whether he’s brave enough to see if it really is his third time lucky.

I really enjoyed this story with the strange friendship between the two men that developed into something else which became real for Lake much faster than Grady who was kicking and screaming as he was so cautious. I loved the epilogue where finally Grady became far more invested than he had been for most of the book. This was clearly told and explained the thoughts and emotions well. It was easy to read and understand. This story is about an MM relationship including mature content which features a friends-to-lovers and a bi-awakening.

They Call Him Levity (Welcome Boulevard, #1)

They Call Him Levity by Davidson King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In order to survive Levity works the streets of Welcome Boulevard with his best friend Clove begging for money which keeps food in his belly and a leaky roof over his head. Salvatore Grillo runs numerous business empires and is used to getting what he wants but is a caring and loyal brother to his autistic sister. Levity's idea to pull in more money draws the attention of Salvatore and although Levity should be terrified he is actually intrigued. The two men seem to gravitate towards each other and when enemies try to break through their doors and lives Salvatore will have to do everything in his power to save them both. Trying to identify their enemy or when they will strike next means that time is running out for Sal and Levity. Will their story end or will they survive?

I loved this story. Levity was such a nice guy who was so positive even though he was surviving at the bottom of society. I loved the way he was so protective of his friends who he considered his family and how determined he was that he would put himself in danger to let them get away. Sal was such a nice guy that you wondered how he could possibly be a crime boss. I loved the way he cared for Levity and made sure that he was safe and well even though he didn't initially know him well. Easy to read, feel and understand I was rooting for Sal and Levity and was thrilled each time they had success only to feel heartbroken when a new complication arose. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story contains mature content.

Rogan (Shadow Recon Book 2)

Rogan by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In the Arctic permafrost where a joint task force from dozen countries, scientists and with locals nearby Rogan rejoins Magnus and Maverick Mountain to work on the mystery of the missing people, especially as Teagan is Mountains brother and known to Mason. Then it gets worse and it becomes very clear that there are multiple murderers and separate motivations to distract them.

I enjoyed this story with all the action, danger and drama. The backstory around Lisa and the way that sparks were flying around them added a great new dimension. The mystery of who the murderer was in this book was a surprise to me as I hadn't suspected them. Well written and easy to read.

Gunner Benson's mission in life is to protect his best friend and save him from the kind of heartbreak he experienced himself. He is worried that the Bears-4-U event is going to ruin all of his hard work protecting Ollie. When the three men meet the chemistry is electric but not all sparks are friendly. Can they come together to find love or is this just one more failed romance?

I enjoyed this story with the angry Gunner and the sweet Ollie and how Daddy Hal coped with them both in such a way that they stayed together. Ollie was so sweet I just wanted to hug him and play with his zoo whereas Gunner was fiercely protective of Ollie and in dire need of a man to love him and give him the firm foundation that he needed to thrive and be happy. I enjoyed the story but did find it a little confusing that Ollie just seemed to be little with Hal all of the time and it was only sexual between Hal and Gunner. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story containing mature content of a BSDM-like DDLB and D/s relationship.

Squeeze Me (Bears-4-U)

Squeeze Me by Brittany Cournoyer
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Roark has had enough of dating until a friend suggests it is the type of guy he goes for and that he should change to something else. So he downloads the Bears-4-U app and gives it a try swiping on someone who unleashes something he never felt before. Cassius has experienced heartbreak and so keeps his guard up but his best friend encourages him to try Bears-4-U and then doesn't pay it any attention. Then he matches with someone who starts to break down his walls as they chat more and more online until he looks forward to their chats. When they meet there is an instant attraction and they both start to learn to trust and love but will the bond they build be strong enough to withstand anything?

I liked the way that their relationship started slowly with messages and getting to know each other before they met in real life and then moved onto something more physical (often this kind of book goes down the instalove route which can be too fast). I loved the involvement of Roark's mother and the other little bits that enhanced the depth of the story. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story contains mature content and is a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Keep Me (Bears-4-U)

Keep Me by H.J. Welch
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beckett's husband died two years ago and his best friend has decided that it is time for him to find a new boy. So she signs him up for Bears-4-U and encourages him to attend a weekend mixer. Giving in but having no intention of finding someone he rescues the most adorable boy twice he wonders if he is ready to open his heart up again. Laurie's last Daddy was bad news but taking courage he reached out to Bears-4-U and went to the mixer only to discover that the guy he had been talking to online was just as awful. Beckett swoops into his life like a hero and although he is not looking for love Laurie wants to mend his broken heart. When a scary storm blows in and strands them h trusts Beckett to keep him safe and warm as he wants to be in his bed and his heart forever.

I really enjoyed this story with the awful Daddy that Beckett rescues Laurie from, their relationship starts off with Beckett just caring for Laurie and end when it was definitely love and a future together. I loved the way that their relationship was built slowly and the way that Laurie made sure that Beckett's late husband was always included and considered as part of their relationship and love. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is a MM story containing mature content with a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Dress Me (Bears-4-U)

Dress Me by K.D. Ellis
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Biker and Daddy Maxis Callaway is a freelance kink photographer and has almost everything he needs - just not a pretty Boy who likes wearing pretty dresses. Lawyer Kane Hale was a teenage stalker and now has become an expert and so when he runs into the perfect Boy wasted at a seedy bar he makes sure he gets home safely and snoops a bit so he can stalk him. Wyatt Summer is a homeless submissive who just wants to make a Daddy happy. Stuck squatting in the laundry room or his previous home that was condemned. When he signs up for the Bears-4-U app are not one but two daddies.

I found this book a bit disjointed but I guess that was due to the fact that there were two daddies and one boy. I also found that so much time was spent on the scene setting that the relationship between the three of them as well as between each Daddy and Wyatt was glossed over more than I would have preferred. So I think this book was shorter than the characters and the subject needed. Easy to read just not so easy to understand due to the short nature of the book. This is an MMM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship including dollification.

Love Comes in Threes

Love Comes in Threes by Marie Sinclair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A single phone call changes the perfectly balanced V-relationship between husbands Elliott and Luc and Luc's Dom/boyfriend Leo. Elliott thrives on routine as he teaches college literature, taking care of their two dogs and unconditionally loving his husband Luc which could be building a studio for this burgeoning career as a pet care influencer or supporting Luc's love for his Dom. Luc is the luckiest man as his pet care YouTube channel is about to launch into a real career with Elliott giving him the solid foundation he needs and Leo giving him the domination and structure he craves. He’s secure in the knowledge that both his husband and his lover will be his wings. Leo knows no one would look at his wheelchair and think that he was a Dom but having served an accident which paralyzed him and a health crisis which almost killed him he has Luc kneeling at his feet it complete devotion and perfect submission. Having kept the balance perfect for several years everything changes after the phone call. Now they have a new dynamic which could destroy everything or build something so much better if they are brave enough to take the chance.

I enjoyed this story with all the emotions involved and the way that they developed, were handled between the three of them and how they worked out an adult way to handle everything. This proved frequently how important communication was between them and how it really was the key to making everything work. I loved that there was a character who was in a wheelchair and that they were so good at giving him as much independence as he wanted but were there to support him whenever he needed and asked for help. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMM story with a BSDM-like D/s relationship including sensation play and a consensual V -relationship.

Review: Stitch Me by K.C. Carmine 4 of 5 stars

Stitch Me

Stitch Me by K.C. Carmine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rod's career is a mess and he has no excitement in his sex life. Needing someone who can fit in as a true partner he knows he needs to find a submissive who will feed his dominant and sadistic sides. When he tries the Bears-4-U app the only person who matches his eye is a feisty young man. Caleb escapes his dead-end existence in the US and flies to England determined to make a new life where his mother and grandfather lived. He tried the Bears-4-U app but with no proper job and his residency application still up in the air, he might be forced to return home. Consumed by his white-hot passion, Rod refuses to let his perfect sub slip from his grasp. He’s determined to do whatever it takes to earn Caleb’s love before they run out of time.

I loved this story with the feisty Caleb who was determined to do whatever it took to earn some money and survive even when technically he couldn't work. Rod was a dream of a Dom who was both a sadist and an expert at aftercare (which might seem to be contrary but actually fits very well). Their encounters were always high-heat and full of trust and passion. Caleb had a lot of heartbreak but Rod was there to support and care for him. They really were a match made in heaven. Easy to read, feel and understand it was easy to get swept away and love this story. This MM story is high on heat and contains mature content and BSDM D/s relationship including sadism and a pain slut.

Display Me (Bears-4-U)

Display Me by Kota Quinn
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Kingston Foxe is a Daddy and loves his job helping others to plan their perfect wedding. When a friend suggests to him that he could find a boy of his own to cherish, spoil and love if he tried the kinky dating app Bears-4-U he signs up just giving himself one rule - not to fall for anyone who reminds him of Jamison Parker. Jamir and Kingston hate each other even though he has always wanted him - so he sets into motion a plan to use the Bears-4-U app to get over him and find a new man if he follows a few rules - to find someone who believes in love and romance, open to exploring new kink with him and not a Daddy as he refuses to be hurt by one again.

I enjoyed some of this story with the way they were together and how their kinks aligned but I did find the beef between them to be a bit much with their so-called practical jokes. I loved the scene in the restaurant with the ex-boyfriend which was so much fun. I loved that Kingston followed Jamie on YouTube even though he had no idea who it was. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship with voyeurism and exhibitionism.

Fluff Me (Bears-4-U)

Fluff Me by R.A. Frick
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jaded musician Marcos Vasquezis working is his way through the available men in San Francisco when he discovers the Bears-4-U app which he hopes means he can find older men who he wants to top. When a deal hangs on him proving he is not so flighty he hopes that his last one-night hookup will help him. Sam Andrews is transgender and pansexual. He signs up to the new dating app Bears-4-U where he hopes to find a Little who wants an older and chubby Daddy just like him. After an amazing night with Marcos, he gets more than he bargained for when he realises that Marcos is a brat who talks Sam into fake dating. Pretending to date Sam is an eye-opener for Marcos when he ends up learning he enjoys being dominated and kept on edge. Can Marcos keep from falling for the older Daddy Bear after faking their way through a relationship?

I enjoyed this story with the promiscuous musician and the steady architect who had plenty of BSDM skills in his pocket. I loved that he was in love with Marcos and it was just a case of when would Marcos realise. There was a moment when I just wanted to shake Marcos and hug Sam while giving him tissues and chocolate. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story with mature content is a BDDM-like DDLB relationship with lots of edging.

Hear Me (Bears-4-U)

Hear Me by A.W. Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Atlas is a Little and only wants to feel seen but he is painfully shy and has trouble stringing sentences together - in fact, people give up listening before he can get his point across. When he gets a new job it puts him in the path of a friend who has no trouble listening to him and signs him up for the Bears-4-U app where Atlas finally agrees to give it two weeks before he gives in. Pro ice hockey player Bentley is known as Brutal Bishop on the ice but when he is off he is completely different. He hoped that his move to Bellport was a fresh start and accepted the advice of a friend to join the Bears-4-U dating app as he prefers to be a Daddy with his partner. When he sees BestBoy’s profile, he realizes he wants the boy all to himself.

I loved this story with the two Bellport brothers who did some light and careful meddling in order to push the two men together via the app. Charlie was just adorable and you just wanted to hug him and tell him that he was wonderful and to take his time when speaking. A lovely relationship between them which was definitely enhanced by the fact that Charlie had no idea who Bentley was or anything about hockey. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content with a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Stuff Me (Bears-4-U)

Stuff Me by Joe Satoria
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Charlie used the Bears-4-U app when he was on holiday in Europe and met a Daddy where they shared one night of passion and aftercare. Having got back home to the US he craved the man he met but they hadn't shared full names or numbers and so he needed to find him. Domen had met the sweet teddy-hugging Little in Europe but he was all he could think about. Crossing paths again seems unlikely but all he can do is keep looking for him and hope that they can meet somehow.

Domen was such a great guy and determined to give Charlie every opportunity to have his chosen career even if it meant they had to live a couple of hours apart. I loved the mutual respect they had for each other and that even though they were a Daddy and a Little they were also two grown men who could work together and have a fulfilling life and career. Easy to read, feel and understand. This MM story contained MM content with a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Review: Hook by Gianni Holmes 4 of 5 stars

Hook (A Hitman's Bait, #2)

Hook by Gianni Holmes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kit is determined to stick with the man he loves and is quite happy to keep his deadly secrets. What he didn't expect was to have to jump out of a two-storey building but he did all for the look in Sully's eyes when he purrs for him. Sully is torn - working with Kit is both his greatest joy but also his worst nightmare as Kit often lets love cloud his judgement. However, he can't be mad at him as his kind heart is one of the reasons he loves him. Sully can't be angry at him as after the Grimaldo incident he worries that every job might be his last. When past deeds catch up with them, will Sully be able to keep Kit safe or watch him suffer?

I really enjoyed this part of their story where their relationship deepened and Kit came into his own as a member of the team. I loved the way that Kit was able to give Sully some good arguments on why his way would be better and that he was able to add a dose of humanity to their jobs. Some of Kit and Sully's interactions are just smoking hot. It was also nice to see that Liam got some more interaction and a bit of happiness too. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains MM sexual content including some BSDM-like pet play and exhibitionism.

Review: Annie's Apple by John A. Heldt 4 of 5 stars

Annie's Apple (Second Chance, #2)

Annie's Apple by John A. Heldt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Siblings and time travellers Bill, Paul, and Annie Carpenter are in 2011 where they are based in two US states. In New York Bill and his wife Cassie are educators and struggling to start a family and Annie is working as a society reporter. In Arizona Paul and his brother-in-law Andy Lee are sergeants part of the effort to stop the Mexican civil war from spilling over the border into the US. Paul and Annie meet new loves, and there is drama, tragedy and adventure at a time when the Titanic sinks and there were factory fires.

I enjoyed this second instalment of the trilogy where as I expect from their author the historical events were very accurately told in the context of this fictional story. Whilst there was a fair amount of happiness in this book there were a number of very tragic events and they were all clearly told with sensitivity and the right level of emotion and empathy. This was easy to read, feel and understand. Things were changing at the end of this story and so I am looking forward to the direction their stories are taking in the final book and which events they are going to experience.

Review: Lure by Gianni Holmes 4 of 5 stars

Lure (A Hitman's Bait, #1)

Lure by Gianni Holmes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kit is working as a prostitute but then a wealthy and dangerous stranger picks him up off the street to work for him and it becomes clear that his body is what he needs and not his brains. Kit's job is to lure men into his trap and he has no idea what he does with them until one night when he tells Kit to run and he stays and realises that he can ignore the blood on his hands for the excitement. Sully's life had been quiet before Kit's arrival with his catsuits and kitty ear headbands. Sully was able to stay only interested in the men he could get closer to in order to kill them until Kit pounces on his lap and meows at him. Sully suddenly realises that he wants Kit even though he was always straight before. Suddenly Sully wants to send Kit to lure men, but they must not touch him as he will take pleasure in seeing them want him but know they’ll never have him.

I enjoyed this start to the series with how Sully found Kit, the state of their working relationship and how Sully found himself becoming increasingly confused as to why he was being attracted to a man when he was straight. I loved the way we saw their relationship develop, their arguments and that sometimes a bit of retail therapy was a great way to get Sully's attention. I loved the way that they became inseparable and that Kit became onboard with the whole enterprise. Easy to read, feel and understand you will soon start to fall in love with Kit and want to make him purr. Contains MM sexual content including some BSDM-like pet play and exhibitionism.

Review: Dirty Deed by Gianni Holmes 5 of 5 stars

Dirty Deed (Daddies' Broken Boys Book 1)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lawyer Sawyer knows that Noah Burgess is off limits as he is too young and the only child of a partner in his law firm. However, there are many layers to Noah as he is also vulnerable and has a wounded heart that he disguises behind dirty deeds and poor judgement - an example is when he is expelled from college for an inappropriate relationship with his professor and he then winds up living with Sawyer for two weeks. Sawyer finds himself unable to let Noah fight his demons on his own and so steps in to help him get his life back together even when his own world puts him in danger - the question is let him go or keep him even closer?

I enjoyed this story with Sawyer doing everything he could to stay apart from Noah while Noah was determined to get Sawyer to be his. I loved the way that Sawyer cleverly gave Noah some boundaries and opportunities to actually succeed on his own without his Dad buying or getting him off from something. Sawyers's family were wonderful and I just wish that everyone had a family as wonderful and close as that. I loved the way that the story ended and the next book in the series looks great. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains mature MM content with some references to historical underage sexual activity as well as issues with dubious consent.

**Dirty Deed first appeared in the Dirty Daddies Pride anthology 2021. It has been expanded with more than 20k words and sets up the next two books in the series.

Review: Protecting the Thief by Elouise East 4 of 5 stars

Protecting the Thief

Protecting the Thief by Elouise East
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Since the death of his younger brother Jesse (known as Robin) has become an expert at finding and locating lost or stolen artefacts. Sometimes his work is legal and sometimes not. When he flew over the Atlantic for a job he got more than he bargained for when he received a death threat and had no choice but to allow the gruff former military man from Trident Security to protect him. George finds it hard to believe that he is babysitting a thief. Hidden away in the middle of nowhere, their opposition is better trained than they anticipated. Despite their emotions running high, keeping Jesse safe is George’s priority. But can he do that when his trust in himself is shaken? What happens when those you trust become the ones who are gunning for you?

I enjoyed this story with the way that Jesse made a living and what he put the money he made towards as well as the way that over time George saw him differently and not just as a thief. The sexual chemistry between Jesse and George was off the charts and it was great to see the two men let their hair down and spend time together. I loved the way that Trident Security circled around and did whatever they had to do in order to keep them both safe and secure. There were definitely some emotional moments (especially involving Jesse's parents). Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains some MM mature content.

Review: Bernie by Ali Ryecart 5 of 5 stars

Bernie (Barista Boys, #4)

Bernie by Ali Ryecart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vowing never to risk his heart again after he lost the only man he had ever loved, coffee shop owner Bernie Porter knows that no one would want his battered, bruised and broken heart. When a bungled street robbery leaves Jared Hastings injured and bloodied on Bernie’s doorstep. Bernie’s instinct is to offer help and protection, but Jared wants neither. Just like he doesn’t want the law or doctors involved. He’s had enough of police and hospitals to last a lifetime. As soon as Jared leaves Bernie has the gnawing conviction something precious has slipped through his fingers. Then they unexpectedly meet but can this time they agree to see each other again and can Bernie learn to love again as well as Jared learn to trust?

I really enjoyed this story with Bernie finally getting a chance at happiness instead of him always putting the boys first. I loved learning more about Bernie and it was interesting to learn more about Jared and how he was connected to Bernie's previous life. The reasons for both Bernie's and Jared's hesitancy in having a relationship were sensitively described and my heart went out to them both. I also loved the way that the Barista Boys were included in the story of Bernie and that they helped to join the two men together even if it was just covering the cafe so Bernie could have time off. Easy to read, feel and understand. This story contains mature MM content and references to domestic abuse.
