Review: C Is for Comfort by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

C Is for Comfort (The Alphabet of Desire, #3)

C Is for Comfort by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Corey is stressed. He is a single Dad and a newly qualified teacher so he cannot find any time for himself. His brothers do what they can to help but he is constantly stressed and exhausted. He reluctantly agreed to go to an adult party that his brother gets him an invite to where he meets Spence who allows him to relax fully. Spence is an A&E Consultant and does crazy shifts at the hospital and so has no time for romance. He meets Corey who is happy to call him Daddy and their hook-up soon morphs into something far more as they continue to meet for stress relief. How he has to win Corey's heart and his five-year-old daughter's heart.

I loved this story which started as a stress-relieving hook-up and ended up with the two men learning that life is about more than work and that a cuddle can fix everything. I loved the way that Spence was so natural as a Daddy and that he took such great care of Corey, Lexi and even facilitated the care of his brothers if their partners needed a heads-up. I loved the ending and the way that he involved Lexi in all major decisions that would affect her. The tea party was just cute. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains mature content and BDSM-like DDLB behaviours with some spanking, blindfolds, gagging and use of a sex toy.
