Ace was sent to Pet Play By The Lake event in Tahoe because someone was trying to "pup-nap" and so his mission is to stop a single puppy from being harmed. Then he was Walt and he was smitten the second he saw him. Walt is smooth, petite and twenty-five. However, Walt is looking for a Master Daddy and Ace hasn't been one since his last relationship failed. Can he battle a pup-napper and make the adorable puppy his?
I enjoyed this story but it was a bit strange. I didn't think the cover matched the description of either man, the hitman type characters are a bit strange with their ways of describing sexual things and although I loved that Ace and Walt were able to be together I was a bit unsure of the identity of the pup that he was supposed to be the protector of as it was a bit disconnected to say at the end that he was actually protecting Walt all along. It just didn't hand together well. This is a MM book containing mature content of a BSDM-like DDLB nature.
