Lane Sawyer had been invited to spend a week in sunny Florida with his boyfriend Macklin and some of his kinkster friends and he needed some uncomplicated fun and the promise of no drama and hopefully a close encounter or two with the apex predator of the Everglades, the Burmese python. He loved, loved, loved reptiles. When Lane arrives, he finds himself face-to-face with their host for the week, his high school girlfriend’s dad who was the man who’d once made Lane realise he was into men. Macklin McKenna couldn’t wait to get away as he needed a vacation from himself. But maybe a week in South Florida with his friends and his adoring boyfriend Lane could distract him from the fact that he was never getting over the man he was still technically married to. Unfortunately, Macklin’s friends were fed up with his agony and had ensured another apex predator was coming too.
This was an interesting book as it finally sorted out the mess between Macklin and his husband Walker. The reconnection of Ty and Lane was also an explosion of passion and gave them a chance to explore what was possible between them. I loved the game they played around primal play too which might have appeared too violent but safewards were always available. Easy to read, feel and understand there were a lot of emotions in this book. This is a MMMM story with mature content and a BSDM-like D/s dynamic.
