Franklin was finally on the right path as his divorce was going well and was civil for the sake of their daughter and he could be the gay man who was into BSDM that he was meant to be. He was happy making real friends as opposed to those in his ex-wife's uppity circle. Then his ex-wife's favourite nephew Jackson Dune is in town on a business trip and wants to have dinner. He just has to get through the one dinner with a man who puts him on edge due to his abundance of charisma and assertiveness. The next day they go to the gym together and Jackson shows his true, filthy, dominant, addictive and inappropriate colours.
This was a wild ride that started something special between the two men that has the intent and potential for forever. I loved that Jackson knew Lily and had some great ideas to help her which will ease their transition later to being together in the same home. Franklin had a swift introduction to some new kinks which he coped with admirably. I liked that they had clear communication and that they drew a line between their relationship and the BDSM relationship so that they were both secure. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.
