Former foster kid Beckett (Beck) Smith is 31 and has never had any reason to think that he’s anything other than human. But meeting omega wolf shifter Oliver (Ollie) Grayson in a club stirs something primal inside him, where he can’t keep his hands off the young, vibrant, sexy man. Then his body changes at the most unexpected and awkward moment. Suddenly, Beck discovers that he’s not as human as he believed but is an alpha in a world where alphas are thought to be extinct plus he is bonded to Ollie. When Ollie’s pack threatens them, Beck will do anything to keep his mate safe…even if it means putting his life on the line.
This was an interesting twist on the alpha/omega storyline with the hidden alpha. I loved the people who helped protect them; the evilness of Ollie's pack and family was shocking. The relationship between the two men was easy but also passionate. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.
