Matt has been so deep undercover in the GSD Cartel for years and has no idea if Detroit PD knows that he is still alive. The only contact he has in law enforcement is his FBI handler, Griffin James but he’s not very helpful with the details and spends more time handling him than actually helping. So criminals have become his friends and family.
I liked this story but it was a little boring in places and I found the number of undercover law enforcement people in the one cartel very unbelievable. The end of the book was also a bit abrupt. East to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and plenty of violence.
