Morgan LeFaye Woodenson plans to marry Sawyer and live a blissful life. However when the Regent's wife dies suddenly, she is suddenly forced from her home, and has to compete with all the other 19 year old women in a battle (based in an arena) where the surviving competitor wins the position of his wife. Can Faye hold on to her dreams and not become become something that she despises?
This was a different story to what I expected (which was good). It was well written and had lots of drama and intrigue. There were plenty of surprises and it was a great new twist on the Othala Witch story.
