Ambrose thought he was the one straight Theriot cousin but was wrong as he was unable to say no and felt attracted to Sheriff Eric Winston when he asked for help ridding his territory from evil. Ambrose wants to protect, kiss and possess him as he breaks down every obstacle keeping them apart even if they are in his mind. He also thought he was the only one who could never fall in love and was wrong about that too.
I loved this story and how reclusive Ambrose could be tempted out of his comfort zone for a man on the opposite side of the law. Their relationship was very passionate from the start and that certainly gave plenty of sparks. Lots of decisions for them both to make although the attraction between them made it easy to make. Easy to feel, read and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
