Ford needs to marry someone and when his fiancee disappears three days before the wedding he needs a quick replacement. He knows who can replace her - the person who persuaded her to run - River. As soon as River met Ford he knew they would be enemies as he loathed every gorgeous and pretentious inch of him. Determined to make Ford suffer and want a divorce, and so he is as difficult as he can be. However, the plan backfires when he sleeps with Ford things that a turn he least expected and maybe a divorce is the last thing he wants.
This was just a weird and strange story. Ford was entitled and very closed off and River was just like a spoiled child having a tantrum. I just didn't like either of them for most of the story as it was all a bit ridiculous. Easy to read. This is an MM story with mature content.
