Cameron didn’t realize how much he loved his grandparents’ bakery until Angelo Marchesi, a man he’d hated since high school, threatened to take it away. But Cameron owes Angelo a debt that he can't pay unless he accepts Angelo’s indecent proposal and risks finding out how thin the line between love and hate is.
I enjoyed this story with the clear example of just how close hate and love are. It was also enlightening to find out that assumptions and information from his childhood weren't correct and that he had to adopt a whole new reality. The love and protection that existed within the Marchesi family were quite a contrast to the way they were with everyone else. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content with aspects of a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.
