Devil is a mobster in the Marchesi family who has secrets in his past. Joe is a cop and there is a hatred of all things Marchesi. However, they shared a night of passion and now can't stop thinking about each other. They shouldn't work together but their kinks align and they can't give each other up.
This was a story of raw passion and love that will not die. I loved the way that they both had to make compromises and that Joe was welcomed into the family despite his job because they loved Devil and he loved Joe. Lots of emotions and communication moments between the two men. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and some BDSM-like D/s behaviours.
