Nikolai is the master vampire of his coven and while humans and paranormals usually live in peace. When a pack of rogue coyote shifters threaten the city Nikolai answers a call for help from the local police department because humans are no match for the speed and strength of paranormals. Nikolai stumbles on a young man called Israel who needs help and is terrified of the world around him. Nikolai immediately recognises him as his fated mate whom he is bound to love and cherish for all time. Israel just needs a Daddy and Nikolai has waited for almost a millennium for a boy of his own so they are perfectly matched. Israel feels safe and at peace for the first time in his life as he explores his little side and places his trust in his vampire Daddy’s strength and care.
This was a sweet story showing that a fated mate in need of a Daddy can turn a master vampire into a soft and indulgent person who can at the same time be ferocious when defending him. Israel was sweet but had the potential to be manipulative when asking for ice cream or cookies. An adorable instalove story of a master vampire who is also a Daddy finding his fated mate who is the cutest little. Easy to read, feel and understand.
