Jaguar shifter Caden is badly injured when human mob boss Quinten Amato and his team find him and seek to find a way to heal him. All Caden knows is that Quinten smells like orange blossom and makes him feel safe no matter the way others fear him. Convincing his bossy human they’re meant to be together isn’t going to be easy. I loved this story with the badly injured jaguar shifter and the feared mob boss who was just meant to be together as mates if only Quinten could save Caden and he could persuade Quinten that they are mates who belong together. I enjoyed the strange mixture where a human can be the alpha of a pack and that shifter were happy to accept that. Lots of danger and drama as I would expect in this kind of book. Easy to read, feel and understand with lots of emotions from Caden and Quinten. This is an MM story with mature content.
