Review: Teegan by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Teegan (Shadow Recon Book 7)

Teegan by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Teegan wakes up in the training camp and can't remember what happened to him and he also doesn't recognise the nurse caring for him who insists that he once asked her to marry him. With a confused brain, he is distrustful of everyone around him. Sandrine can't believe the injured man she is caring for is Teegan because he was always so fit and strong when she knew him. All she wants is to get him back on his feet and be the man she used to know. But someone isn’t done with him yet. Teegan knows that his brother is doing everything he can to solve all the mysteries around the camp especially those around him but no matter what he does he can't completely stop anyone from hurting him but sometimes betrayal doesn’t come from the outside - sometimes it comes from the inside.

We are getting closer to who caused all of the problems at the training camp and yet it is still not clear. Teegan was a major missing person and certainly many people had just assumed that he was dead. Thankfully he has been found as his injuries would have become far more serious if he had been out there for much longer. I loved the connection between Teegan and Sandrine as it showed how right for each other they were but years ago was not the right time for them. A nice combination of mystery and emotions in this story which has a little mature content at the end. I can't wait for the conclusion of the series in the next book.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
