This is a story about Wren, an earthling, and Toman, an alien dragon-mage, who are fated mates. Wren finds his mate at a bizarre party and is excited by the prospect of a "Daddy" who is also an alien. He is ready for a wild adventure. Toman is an alien who is surprised to find his fated mate on Earth. He is confused by human customs but is determined to learn what it means to be a "Daddy" and how to fall in love with his "adorably confusing" mate.
This was a sweet romantic story where the two men from different worlds must navigate cultural differences and their fated bond. The arrival of aliens through the portal was fun and the area that they arrived in is very kinky and so it was difficult for them to understand and on return to explain. A good start to this new series. The relationship between Wren and Tomas was sweet and tender. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
