Review: Enticed by the Enemy by Leighton Greene 4 of 5 stars

Enticed by the Enemy

Enticed by the Enemy by Leighton Greene
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a story about a forbidden romance between Special Agent Baxter Flynn and Angelo Messina, the Underboss of a mafia family. Bax, a federal agent, is professionally obsessed with Angelo and is investigating him. Their rivalry turns into an unexpected alliance when they are both targeted in a Central Park assassination attempt. Forced to work together, they are drawn to each other despite their differences, including their age gap and conflicting loyalties.

This was a dangerous love story where they must navigate corrupt cops, old enemies, and their own demons to find a way to be together.  This was a very dramatic story with all of the complexity of working out who was responsible and why while they were also sorting out their relationship and how they felt about each other. Lots of danger and drama along with passion this was a complex story. This was an MM story with mature content.
