This is a story about Stuart Jenner, a high-powered businessman, and Foster Knight, a yacht captain, who find an unexpected connection during a two-week sailing trip. Stressed and on the verge of burnout, Stuart books a yacht charter for a solo vacation after his friend cancels. He's looking for relaxation and a fling. Foster, who left the corporate world behind for a life at sea, promises Stuart a trip focused on rest and rejuvenation. As they spend two weeks alone on the yacht, they discover a growing attraction. The story sets up a romance that blossoms in the isolated, tropical setting of the Great Barrier Reef.
I loved this story with the emotional transformation of Stuart which had a lovely metaphorical current running through it. The gentle way that Foster educated Stuart about ecology and sailing was special. The story ending was special and made me smile while laughing. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
